That's what I was going to say. He STILL hasn't posted in such a long time. It had better be worth the wait.

I think NJ would be an appropriate topic.

The importance of NJ during the Revolutionary War. (among other items, it was the crossroads of the War. In some respects it still is a major crossroad in the US between New England and the South.)

Important/Famous people that were from NJ. (Abbott&Costello, Frank Sinatra, Bruce Springsteen, Antonin Scalia, and David Copperfield to name a few.)

Thomas Edison's invention factory was located in NJ. Some items invented were the phonograph and the light bulb.

There also is a race for Governor this year. NJ and VA are the only two states that have governor races in the year after the Presidential election.

I think the biggest problem would be the word limit imposed on members. I am sure JD can easily exceed the word limit (by just focusing on NJ alone. ).

If JD did not want (or was persuaded not) to speak about NJ, I am sure he could tie in the number 10,000 to something in the world today.

(Remember for good health 10,000 steps a day. )

10,000 reasons why LOTR could have been made into a great film.
10,000 reasons why NJ is a great state.
10,000 reasons why France is a great US ally.
etc.

Remember JD,
"That's one small post for man; one giant post for mankind."

Good luck in what ever you decide to post about. (and make it worthwhile. )
