I find it interesting that she is the one who is banned. She is the one that started this thread, she is the one who keeps finding ways to speak on the forum under a ban, whether it be in new accounts or through other members. She has done quite well in making her voice heard inspite of the ban, and even creating threads. Don't come off like she is so defenseless. she is the one that is causing it to escalate and go on and on and on, and now with your help.

She asked me to post it, she's my friend, I posted it. That's it. I didn't know who deleted the emails. At least it helped to clarify who actually DID it.

SGH, sorry I accused you of deleting my posts. I stand corrected that it was Valandil who took it upon himself to moderate this thread on your behalf.

The purpose of posting those emails was to get the truth out. If you want, you can post them yourself. They should correspond to mine. I did not censor or change any part of the emails, I swear. If I wanted to do that, I would have painted myself in a better light.

And for once, I agree with the monarchist. This is an absolutely disgraceful show of pettiness. I have had problems before with this kind of blind-eyed moderation, but look what happpens when you fall on the wrong side. I never saw what Ruinel posted, but I am familiar with her posting style, and yes, sometimes she fell out of line, but really, a lifetime ban?! Whatever. This is just a blatant case of bullying, IMO. You know what, if I didn't like some of the posters round here, I'd be chucking it in myself. I'm tired of the one-sided favouritism that goes on around here.

Many ISPs will pull the plug or various types of site invaders/harrassers. There are legal consequences in some jurisdiction for the more stubborn of them.

And please, can you point out the rule that says you can't act as a mouthpiece of someone who's got banned? Because I don't see how Artanis is violating anything. If people bash Ruinel when she's not around anymore, then that's frigging wrong. I think Artanis is being a great friend to take it upon her to be Ruinel's mouthpiece.

Personally I see no reason not to be able to disagree with a friend(SGH and I do on a daily basis.)But Ruinel could be talking to her via e-mail or as she had claimed when she created the new accts. in, PM. instead of through numerous user accts. and forum members.SGH has a problem with her defiance as she has said many of times.Sometimes it's better to stay out of things and let two people work them out,but in creating this thread it's turned into a side show act.

I didn't see it that way. In my view, I was moderating the Ano account. When that account was established, we were given some guidelines to follow in order to keep it operative. So for one thing, I thought it was way outside the bounds set by those conditions.

Disclosure of truth is important... but that does not mean that everything should be laid bare by one party. There are matters of confidence as well. If two people have a private conversation or exchange emails - and one of them shares all the information publicly, without getting prior consent of the other, the other certainly could feel betrayed. That may not be an actual search for 'truth'.

In this case, if you (Ruinel) and SGH mutually agree to post all of your emails - fine. You can still do that - I have not prevented it. What I did was remove posts quickly - because I determined that the reason for posting them was anger.

It just didn't seem to me that those posts were going to bring a peaceful solution - just more fighting.

Now... what say we ALL take a deep breath? Hit the Teacup Cafe? Looksee at the Tolkien forums (one of those new threads is in the 'Hobbit' forum! )... take it easy... leave and come back when we're seeing a bit more clearly??

Certainly making new accounts would warrant extending the ban, but I would not make it a "life ban." I would suggest maybe in a month taking the ban away and then if she flames again then ban her again.

Of course, just my suggestions since I am not an acting admin.
