No formal arrangements yet.

Actually, I had thought of asking the LA-based people if they wanted to meet at the next harp concert in Glendale ... I think there's at least 5 of us.

oh, it's not until November 2006, I think (but it will be GREAT! The same Irish harpist I heard last month, plus another wonderful one)

Maybe there's something before that - Meet at the Hollywood bowl or something? A suitably wonky place to meet.

Hmm. November 2006 is midterm for me, so that might be tricky. I don't know if I can manage anything earlier. It all depends on when transportation ceases to be an issue.

I guess I'll just have to wait until options open.

Here`s another one for me- try and forgive my mother. I won`t explain everything but I can say it`s more trouble than it`s worth being too stubborn and prideful about it.

Archery sounds sooo cool....

Well, I look forward 2 meeting you someday Lief, as long as you PROMISE and swear to God that you will not try to convert me when we meet.

And you, too, Rian!! And trolls' bane! And of COURSE, Shah & Lady M. Maybe we should try and make some kind of resolution to be able to meet each other sometime in 2006; wouldn't that be fun? Like, all go out to a nice dinner party in L.A. somewhere; I know a lot of great restaurants for that kind of fun evening! The more I think about it, the funner (funner?) that kind of meet-up sounds.

I think it takes like 20 hours or something to drive straight down from Seattle to L.A.; my ex-fiance did it once and I seem to recall something about 20 hours, though that may be a fairly liberal estimate. Anyway, it's a helluva lot furthur than Portland!

It would be SO friggin' cool to meet up with you two! MAN, that would be fun. Sometime this spring/early summer, maybe. That's not too far away...

For me to be able to make it, it would have to be after the college spring semester. That ends on May 28. I'm also going to Paris with a group of students this summer for the month of July, and August 14-18, I'll be in San Diego avec ma famille. So those are my limitations. Visit the man I've finally forgiven after a long miserable time. I must agree with RÃ*an; unforgiveness is the worst for the unforgiving. Darn it, I missed him, and missed his friendship. I really wish to be on good terms again.
