I am working on the Restaurant. It is great. (I love the guy separated from his body and the tank that killed himself.)

I LOVE the alien, Wowbagger the Infinitely Prolonged, who goes around cursing at everyone in the universe:
"You're a jerk Arthur Dent." "Whh...?" "Bu....hu....uh...." "Ru.....ra.....wah.... who?" "Arthur Dent?" Nod Nod. "Arthur Phillip Dent?" "Er.... er.... yes....er.....er..." "You're a jerk Arthur Dent, a complete A--hole." "Er...." "Er... er..."

I read them, thought they were confusing, then read them again and loved them!

boo hoo He died! Noooooooo. Now the sixth part of the trilogy can never come out!
I love the books and my favourite character is definately Ford. Has anyone read any of the Dirk Gently books by DA? Ive read the Long Dark Teatime of the Soul. It wasn't as good as the hitchhiker books but is quite funny |

I read Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency and The Long Dark Teatime of the Soul -- loved them both but the one (Teatime) got a little deep, a little difficult to picture what was going on. My favorite line -- "Pray God I am not too soon!" I love to use that line! I think they are just as good, but different than the Hitchhiker's series.

The Long Dark Teatime of the Soul is a lot better than the first one though. The first one's very strange....

I love the increacingly missnamed Hitchhiker Trilogy. I can't decide whether LTUAE or MH is my favorite. I think SLATFATF is kind of pointless. Let's play the HGTTG quote game.
"What am I doing with this fish in my ear?"

Asked Arthur.
"It's translating for you," said Ford. Honestly, am I the only person in this thread?
