Yeah, thanks, dpr. Don't be so hasty, hoom, to look up quotes next time. Wait for the poster to confirm and if it's wrong, you can sit there and join the guessing!
Yes, Val. It was the Warden. He was marveling at how tough hobbits are! It's amazing, isn't it? Hey, Val, did you really connect a "Bike Ride!" with the Warden?

I love solving these things, but don't care so much about identifying the speaker. If I don't know the speaker, guessing doesn't interest me. I would never look up the quote until I'm virtually certain it's already been answered correctly.
Anyway, no sign of Val today. Must.... have.... quote.......

Be patient, young Padawan.
Actually, come to think of it, I believe I was the same way when I discovered this thread. I was always so frustrated with all the other people who were SO SLOW at this... It should wear off after a month or two... =D

Wrong words are 'you too' in the first line.
Not that hard... just take your time with it.

Neither speaker is correct.
CC: your 'now' in the first line is wrong, along with 'Mordor' Roofy: wrong words are 'work' / 'Mordor' / 'then' / 'told' / 'For it is' / 'a' I think I gotta get to bed. EDIT: CC - your changes just before this post are correct

No, Val. I actually wish I had time to ride a bike. Or a bike to ride.
In the following, I incorporated some of Roofy's corrections: The ones I couldn't think of a better, or the ones I was pretty sure were correct. "It needs but one son to breed a war, not two,/_a_t_r/_a_d_n/. And those who have not swords can still die upon them. Would you have the folk of Gondor gather for/h_r_s/only, when the Dark Lord gathers/_r_i_s/? And it is not always good to be healed in body. Nor is it always evil to die in battle, even in bitter pain. Were I permitted, in this dark hour I would choose the latter." Eówyn hards, hares, harks, harms, harps, harts, herbs, herds, hires, horns, hurts... I don't know which one fits the best, or even if I got them all.

It needs but one foe to breed a war, not two, Master Warden.
And those who have not swords can still die upon them. Would you have the folk of Gondor gather for herbs only, when the Dark Lord gathers armies? And it is not always good to be healed in body. Nor is it always evil to die in battle, even in bitter pain. Were I permitted, in this dark hour I would choose the latter." Eówyn
