Preliminary leftovers! Lol!! That's the bomb. I'd LOVE a turkey sandwich Lady M. The reason why I enjoy Thanksgiving at all is because of the phenomenal food. I - LOVE - TURKEY. And yams, and mashed potatoes, and stuffing, and cranberries, and gravy, and all the other stuff that one can access during this particular holiday.

Anybody care for a glass of Viognier to go with the turkey sandwiches? It's a good pairing. *sips wine, makes self comfortable leaning up against Leroy. Leroy purrs, making the glassware on the shelves rattle and tinkle.*

Wow! I destroyed thirteen waves of computer generated TIEs before dieing. Cool! *plays Rogue Squadron II* Rohirrim, we must be merciful to the Rogues. They are soo cool! *thinks of new word to replace cool because cool doesn't work in Star Wars except under special circumstances or if you live on Hoth or Rehn Var or the outer "hull" (skin) of a Yuuzhan Vong worldship* They are so Force! (Check out my new Av! Downloaded from Star Wars: Jedi Knight II: Jedi Academy official website.)

Anyway, I think I will overdose on caffine by drinking tea right now! I will be sorting out these wonderful piles of paperwork in search of a wallet I was forced to get when I didn't need it because I had a perfectly good one all along but people say I need a wallet but I say I don't because that means if you lost it, you lost everything.

Ciao, TB! Wow, looks like you've definitely maxed out on caffeine today! That's cool. I can relate. Except today it's all about the turkey sandwiches and viognier, which lends a diametrically opposing physical effect to loads of caffeine. *slumps lazily deeper into Leroy's thick, soft fur. Leroy swats huge tail at me.* Whaaaa? Oh - as I was saying, or - what was I saying? *takes another sip of wine, sleepily glances around.*

Diametrically! I don't know what that means, but that is now yet another one of my words to replace "cool." I should now publish my findings before someone else gets these ideas:

Shah, are you lurking about right now? Now, since you've reinstated cloaking status, I'll never know when you might be here or not.

trolls' bane I'm just wondering - how come the word "rikers" is supposed to be for "cool?" You do know about Riker's island, do you not - the famous prison. I'm just curious as to how you got rikers for a "cool" word. Anyway, prisons aren't "cool," they're devastating places.

*calls the liger* Leroy, could you do us a big favour and disarm this young nutjob running around with the steak knife in here? TB, you're cut off from the caffeine here for a couple hours, 'til you calm down a bit!

No, I know. Ghettos aren't cool either, but people seem to think so, so I don't se any reason why they wouldn't think Rikers is cool.
In fact, most of that stuff I put isn't cool.

People who think ghettos are cool obviously don't live in the ghetto. This world is so full of total idiots, I swear. Maybe it's cool to have your five year old little-girl neighbor shot to death by a drive-by gang, that happens in the ghetto. Maybe it's cool to go to Riker's for said hideous, random murder and then get gang-raped on a regular basis for twenty years straight, maybe that's cool too. I can't stand morons who "coolize" the horrors of the real world. Idiots.

Yep...so easy to be sarcastic about it.
Anyway, as for Ricers (not Rikers), we also love to call them coffee canners for various reasons. Any guesses why?

You can hide dope inside the coffee grounds in a coffee can, and cop dogs won't be able to pick up the scent of the dope. On a totally unrelated note, I saw on the news the other day, this little old lady found a dead baby turtle inside the coffee grounds inside her Folger's can. She'd been using the coffe for like a month before she discovered the tiny petrified body of a turtle. Kid you not. Actually happened.

Sing it with me now... saaaaaalmonella salmoneeeeela!! [/singing]

Or do you mean it was dead when she bought the coffee and her pet turtle didn't meet its end there? (I almost typed "meat" instead of "meet". Ew.)

So... anyone want some more coffee? *awkward*

I'd heard that too. Actually I think that's old news now. Soooo last week, Lotesse.

I went to Dunkin Donuts a couple of hours ago for a coffee ('cause I fell asleep on the least comfortable couch ever last night and have to write stuff today). Since it was nearly closing time, they gave me four free doughnuts. I love it when that happens!

Speaking of Thanksgiving leftovers, my school cafeteria now has "Thanksgiving wraps," cold-cut turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and the obligatory cafeteria mystery vegetable (looks like guacamole) wrapped in a tortilla. I bought it and loved it but eveyone at my table was like "eww!" They just don't know what they're missing.

loL!! crackin' me up over here!! Yeah, I think it's non-coffee beverage night so far tonight at the Teacup! The turtle in the coffee grounds thing remains a mystery; that is, they never specified if they knew whether or not the turtle came from the actual coffee packaging plant, or had crawled into the can at the lady's house, but seeing as she didn't own any turtles and those coffee cans have sealable plastic lids, well...

Beware the school cafeteria mystery food. That stuff is downright terrifying.

Why don't you go ahead & tell us what you're tryna say here, because I've absolutely no idea. And what are Ricers?
