Thanks for the kind words, everyone!
Farimir - your link just points to the announcement page; the address stays the same even as the individual announcements change. Anyway, please check the latest announcement. I'm confident Spock will do a great job.

Congratz Spock - I was excited about this when you told me about this in your PM. I'm sure you will do a great job.

Wow, heh. Sorry I thought it was a well-thought out April Fools' Prank.
Or maybe it was the ultimate prank - posting a real announcement right before April Fools. Anyway thanks for everything bmilder! I hope you're not too glad to be rid of us. I'm sure Spock will be great since he's already well-aquainted with the board, the Mooters, and how the place works. I'm really glad an active Mooter bought it! Quote:

It is dedicated to WHAT? Star trek? And what in Angband is it, pray tell? |

Janet? It's a song called "Star Trekkin'" by The Firm. It's a great song - you should download it from iTunes.

Uh... guys... what's going on?
It was kind of sudden that Spock got the place - and yet it's been changed so quickly? OK now... I KNOW there's been very little action in the Tolkien section - and I'm sorry for all my mod-complaints about not being able to properly cover the Tolkien forums at that... but to re-MAKE the whole place??? OTOH... I DO like the original series of Star Trek a whole lot - and even my own interest in Tolkien has waned a bit. But... still...!!??
