*Out of the gathering dusk came a pure high voice very clearly, an octive above the rest...*
Voice: Night after night the man wrote on, And filled his tales with mirth and song. His mind was warm, his hands were cold. He paid no heed to growing old. High over the chocolate fact'ries cold... To buildings wide and lib'ries old. We must away e're break of day To seek the choc'late candy gold. *A twelve year old girl jumped out into the clearing* KC: Hi! My name's KC! *Eyes the tall people suspisiously* Hey, who's side are you on? I thought this was a meeting of "Death to Tall People!"

Acacia: *rather short herself* Oh, hello. Don't worry, we short people are far superior to all those evil tall folk...
*She joins in the singing, her Mezzo voice holding its own against the two sopranos and weaving a harmony within the music*

*Zandalf starts blowing up fireworks, hoping the noise created can muffle the sounds of everyone singing at a different pitch. A few take time to 'Oooh' and 'Ahhhhh', and then continues on. Zandalf goes back inside and plugs his ears with magic earplugs. Unfortunately not even magic can counteract the pure raucous noise that was being created, so he begins to bang his head against the wall, hoping to knock himself out and awake when it was all over. Unfortuantely, all he gets is a large bruise and a splitting headache.*

OOC: Xylaphone? I did not take five years of fiddle lessons just to play the xylaphone!
(the xylaphone in Maggie's hands spontaneously turns into a fiddle and she starts to play a fast rollicking tune that is completely out of tempo with the rest of the "music". This is just to much for poor Zandalf.) Zandalf: Please! Good people! That is enough music for now. We must get down to buisness! (the music stops, just as it does the lightbulb on the ceiling burns out and Hannah gets up to get another one.) Allie: Where are you going? Hannah: To change the lightbulb. Where did you think I was going? KC: Don't change it. We like the dark. Maggie: We do? Tano: Hush! Let Allie speak!

Tano: After all, she does seem to have been appointed a leader...though by whom I'm not sure.
(ooc: fiddle? Don't I wish... By the way, gals, I like the song!)

(OOC - Don't worry ppl, i'm not going to stay long here. I wouldn't want to ruin your story )
Suddenly the door creaks open and a small, dark haired elfin...elf appears playing a flute, unaware that the singing and music has stopped. She dances round the room, playing a light melody, when she trips on something. Gemma - Aww no, who put that there! *realises people are watching and wondering who and why this elf is here* Umm...where did the music go? I heard music! Am i interrupting something? *still the stare. She smiles briefly*

OOC- Sorrry Willow...I kind of picked random instruments for everyone when I said that. And I SOMEHOW happened to think of...xylophone!OOPS.
Allie- I was appointed leader by...I don't know either...I'll get back to you on that later. And hello, miss...um... Gemma-Gemma. Allie- Yes, hello. You may stay here and listen awhile if you'd like. But anyhow, back to business. Gandgirl is obviously delayed by some greater reason. Until her return, I think Zandalf should serve in her stead. Does everyone agree? OOC- Is that okay? If not...someone can change it. Allie- Furthermore, I would like to make it clear that everyone's FULL COOPERATION is needed on this quest. *stares at Hannah* We may never come back alive, but if we do, we'll be rich. Is this clear? Hannah- Wait! I never said ANYTHING or heard ANYTHING about a quest. Sarah- Helloo...were you asleep in our song? Maggie- We're going to rescue our precious chocolate back from a dragon. Hannah- I will need the full story behind this before I go on any adventures!

Maggie: Ah no! You just had to say that. Now she's gonna go off on a big long speech about how our people got driven out of the north and came to the lonely mountain and mined and got rich and how her grandad became king and all their wealth attracted the dragon and his eight skanky sidekicks and they got kicked out by the wicked Smaug and his Smaugettes and a lot of our people died.
Allie: I don't think that's entirely nessacary, considering the fact that you just told her the whole story while complaining about my speeches. Maggie: Oops... OOC: It's okay, I like xylaphones, it's just I know how to play the fiddle.

Tano: No, but you forgot that part about the Smaugettes putting on musicals for our entertainment to distract us while Smaug plotted our oust.
Maggie: Probably because it's kind of embarrassing. Tano: Really? I liked them. "Once Upon a Mattress" was rather good. Maggie: I mean, it's embarassing that no one noticed they were distractions. Tano: Oooh...right. Er. Sorry about that, then. Allie: *rolls eyes* -tano

Acacia: Oooh, and don't forget the other things the smaugettes did!
Maggie: They did more? Acacia: Remember, they took control of my very own library! *growls* Maggie: Oh, that... well, I didn't think it was that important... Acacia: Not important? The library was where the Chocolate Egg was hidden, which contained a book specially written for me by a Sir Tokie or something like that... how can you say that its not important? Hannah: A book?

Sarah: Who cares about books and libraries anyway?
Acacia:*insulted* I do! Sarah: Yeah, yeah... But think of all that chocolate! All stored away in the giant fridge which the dragon calls his hoard. Ah, if I think of all the houres I spent mixing the cacao powder and the sugar with my own hands.... Gemma: Did you make liquorfilled chocolates? Sarah: Off course and praliné and white chocolate and fondant... Allie: Yes, Sarah but that's quite enough.... Sarah: *continues dreamily* And now our chocolatemachines are silent. I always liked the praliné filling machine.... I remember that one time when ... Allie: SARAH! Sarah:*sheepish* sorry.... I got carried away a bit.

Acacia: Mmmmm... chocolate...
Hannah: Excuse me... Sarah: EXACTLY!!!!! Acacia: Well, why don't we rescue them both at the same time? What's better than chocolate and a good book? Hannah: I said excuse me... Sarah: Well, now you put it that way... Acacia: I knew you'd understand. Hannah: CAN YOU GUYS PLEASE BE QUIET!!!!! *silence* Hannah: Thankyou. Now, miss Akaky or Asaki or whatever your name is... Acacia: Acacia Hannah: Right, Akaysha, what was it you were saying about a book? Acacia: Well, in the very heart of the hoard of chocolate there lies the Arkenegg, our most precious creation, made of the smoothes, creamiest chocolate encasing what is thought to be the most fascinaing book in the history of the world! Doubtlessly, that's what brought the smaugettes, attracted by the lust of chocolate... Hannah: Yes, yes, but the book? Acacia: It was written by one of the greatest authors of our time... Hannah: That's it, i'm in! I need a good book to read... Allie: But it will be dangerous... Sarah: You may not survive... Maggie: And the journey is absolutely exhausting... Hannah: A book and chocolate! What more could I want??? Zandalf: Excellent, so you're in. Then we set off tomorrow morning, with our without this Gandgirl character...

Zandalf: For now I suggest you all get some sleep.
Acacia: Like that's going to happen. Tano: It'll be like a sleepover where no one sleeps! Zandalf: Now wait a minute! Allie: Let's start singing again! *everyone takes a collective breath* Zandalf: *grows taller and takes on a menacing voice* NO!!! *everyone lets out breath* Zandalf: *returns to normal self* Besides, there's one thing you all are forgetting about. *everyone looks Zandalf with a questioning stare* Zandalf: How do you all expect to actually get into the Smaugettes' cave? Hannah: Why not just walk in through the front door? Sarah: Because that's exactly what they'd be expecting us to do! Hannah: Wouldn't they actually expect us to take a different door? Sarah: Actually, no. Simply because there is no other door! Zandalf: That's where you're wrong! You see those runes on the west side, and the hand pointing to it from the other runes? Sarah: Yeah. So? Zandalf: I'm not sure, but I do believe it actually leads to a secret entrance. Allie: And what makes you think that? Zandalf: Well, the runes say 'This leads to a secret entrance.' Allie: Oh. Zandalf: In any case, dawn comes early and..... Violet: Hold on...we leave at dawn? Zandalf: Well...yes. *everyone gives a frustrated sigh*

Tano: You would want to leave at dawn. Wizards, honestly...*goes off grumbling, to find the comfiest chair and curl up to try and sleep* And if anyone starts yelling I swear I will steal Zandalf's staff and give you a nice hard staffbap! I warn you, I'm grumpy in the mornings.
Hannah: She's grumpy in the mornings? Then what's this? Maggie: You don't want to know. Trust me. Tano: *pokes head up* Oh, I'm generally very sweet. Just not when I'm trying to sleep. Maggie: (quietly) Yeah, right. Tano: I heard that!

Maggie: Sleep is good. If I do not get enough sleep I will be incoherent and grumpy in the morning so go to sleep.
(Everybody gets out sleeping bags and pillows and set up a hodgepodge up sleeping spaces all over the living room floor.)

*Meanwhile, my sister has somehow spit out the stuffed animal and wriggled out of the ropes. She comes down the stairs and sees the potential sleepover*
BS: WTF!?!?! Now I seriously think you all are insane... Hannah, do you know these people? Hannah: Ummm... Everyone except Hannah and BS: *Glare that says if you don't say yes we will force feed you live octopus covered in vegemite* Hannah: Y-yes... BS: Are you sure? OOC: My sister said (about the stuffed animal/tied up thing) that if she ever found Earniel she would personally roast her... then she said she was kidding and laughed along with me
