I don't want any piercings, but I'd love a rose tattoo between the shoulder blades.

As for on other people, I don't mind them, but too many is just . . . ick.

I have a rooster (don't laugh) on my ankle. My last name is German for rooster, not to mention it is my Chinese birth sign....oddly enough it is of Celtic design. On my back it is just a "mirrored" design taken from a piece of wrought iron from a New Orleans' balcony....one of my favorite places on the planet.

I had my ear pierced awhile ago - but I don't have any earing in it anymore.

I've thought about getting a small tatoo on my ankle of the Jersey Devil. My friend has a dolphin on his ankil, along with several others - including Marlyn Monroe on his chest (it'll look funny once he gets older). I probably won't get a tatoo though since everyone gets them. I also don't think I care enough to go through the pain of it. I would get a Henna tatoo at Seaside Heights maybe. Had several friends get them there when they came out to visit me - they look cool and disappear in about a month.

I just have my ears pierced. Not anything else. my parents won't let me do much else. My mom is ok with me getting a tattoo, but my dad isn't too keen on it. I have such a hard time finding something to represent me, cuz I don't know how to explain me or what would symbolize me, I don't understand myself lol If I ever do find something that I can really connect with, I can start my mom talking my dad in to it.

When I move out I want to get my nose pierced... not just because "oooh nose piercings are cool!" but because I think it would contrast nicely with my face. Maybe some more ear holes as well.

Generally I don't like piercings. I do not even have my ears pierced, and I will never get them pierced. Pierced eyebrows are okay.
I don't like tattoos, because it makes you more easily distinguished.
I wouldnt dislike someone just because they have either/both.

Considering that my idol is Brody Armstrong from The Distillers, I have to say that piercings and tattoos in respectable places are nice. I have my ears pierced five times and am planning on a lip rip and tattoo.

My tattoo would be of the two trees of Valinor...

I finally decided to remove my tongue stud. It was getting too annoying with people not being able to understand me sometimes. Plus I had to keep taking it out for work, so it seemed like a lot of hard work for a piece of metal in my mouth. I do miss it though. I've still got 9 piercings in my ears, although I only use four at the moment. Still considering another tattoo: I've yet to find a design that I like though.

It depends on the person, and unless its totally over the line I dont care much. A couple tattoo's or so on a guy is sorta okay but I perfer them without. Same on girls. For guys, I usually perfer no piercings, exept in the ear, which I kinda like

and on girls *shrugs* In general...(imo) I think most piercings look better than most tattoo's...
Edit: oh yeah, myself...I dont have any piercings or tattoo's, im not opposed to them, its just something I dont wanna do.

I have two holes in my ears. I just got the second one done yesterday. I think its ear peircings are okay, not a lot, but like three are okay. Bellybutton peircings look cool too. I don't like holes anywhere else, I think it just looks tacky. Tatoos are cool, if they aren't like everywhere and big and stuff.I would never get one, but they are okay on other people.

I want flesh tunnels and a nose piercing, but my parents would never let me. Yesterday my mom told me I could pierce my ears more, that's it, but no stretching them, and no other facial/body piercings... so I was looking up some ear piercings

And I love Industrial. I asked my mom "Mom... if I saved up my money and paid for it myself, could I get another ear piercing?" "Yeah sure, where do you want it? Do you want them right above your current ones, or those ones up in the cartiladge?" Apparently, she expected me to want a typical piercing. I showed her a pic of an Industrial, and she screamed.

God, how am I to ever get anything I want if my parents think anything cool is repulsive?

And I don't have any tattoos or piercings, but I sort of want to get my ears pierced. Not sure though - I think I'll get them done if someone says it'd be cool or gave me earrings or something, but I just need a little bit more encouragement to be sure.

Do you believe, my Mum got her ears pierced last year??? First person in the family to get them done... Freaky.
