But in Gwai's defense, it was one of those old-fashioned, arranged embraces.

I think it's really great how discussing Gwai's impending doom has brought us all closer together.

The brilliance of the deduction on the thesis on various locational situations in this clip is absolutely fabulous.
”Tonight on W-M.O.O.T, this alternate version of a very informative scene placement-wise…” Varna is working hard removing a pile of earth from the ground. It’s back-breaking work for him to transfer the earth to the wheelbarrow. A couple of yards away Rian is raking leaves and putting them in a basket. Varna is moaning a bit and putting his hand on his back. Varna. “Hi there, Eva!” Rian. “Hi!” Varna. “What are you doing over There?” Rian. “There? Im standing here and raking leaves.” Varna slightly miffed. “No, I do not agree. Im standing here shoveling earth, Im just saying:” Rian. “No, no. Im standing here raking leaves. You are standing over there shoveling earth. It’s altogether another matter.” Varna. “So I’m should be standing over there. That’s impossible. Im standing here and digging, the spade and wheelbarrow here, (continues to mumble something…) Rian. “But, Brasse, Im standing here raking leaves. Naturally, I know my present location.” The argument continues and just then, Hector comes by on a bicycle. “Clingelingeling.” Varna. “Keep quiet. Im here and she’s over there.” Rian. “No, Im standing here and he’s standing over there.” Hector. “Clingelingeling. You are over there.” Varna. “What do you mean, here? You’re over there. We are standing here!” Hector, giving them a slightly superior laugh.”I think I can clear up your confusion if you could come over to me right now.” Varna. “Confusion, confusion.” he continues to mumble angrily. Hector. “Be my guests, be my guests, be my guests.” Varna. “What are we doing over here?” Hector, putting his arms around the shoulders of the two angry debaters. “How do you do? So you have finally come over here.” laughing a short laugh. Rian. “Yes.” Hector. “You see. The issue of here and there - I have just figured it out. There - there over by the wheelbarrow and there over by the basket - over there, over there are places where you’re not, where you are not. But here, here is the very spot where you are, here, here.” jumping up and down to illustrate his point. During this instructive description Rian and Varna has listened carefully and emitted various understanding and getting it noises. Varna. “Here, here.” DrWo still is not convinced of the validity of the stated locational situations. “No, no, nooh.” Rian. “Aha. So that is it.” Hector. “I’ll run it by you again.” Rian. “Yes, please do.” Hector. “There is There where you are not - here is here where you really are. Furthermore, here always comes along when you are out walking, for example.” At this point he lays his arms on their shoulders and they walk off towards the wheelbarrow. Varna. “So you’re saying that here always comes along?” Hector. “Exactly!” Music starts playing in the background. Varna. “You’re saying that there is there where you are not.” Rian. “And here is here you are.” They all goes off towards the basket while Hector says. “Here always comes along.” They all sing in unison. “Here always comes along.” Then they sing. “There is there where you are not.” pointing over to the wheelbarrow.” Here is here you are.” As they in time with the jazzy tune dance over to the bicycle singing. “Here always comes along. Here always comes along.” They stand by the bicycle and points towards the basket and sing. “There is there where you are not. Here is here you are. “ And while walking over to the wheelbarrow they sing. “Here always comes along. Here always comes along.” And now they begin to sing a barbershop kind of version of this brilliant song. “There is there where you are not. Here is here you are. “ As they walk over to the basket. “Here always comes along. Here always comes along.” Yet again. “There is there where you are not. Here is here you are. “ As they walk over to the bicycle. “Here always comes along. Here always comes along.” As they point towards the basket they sing the barbershop version.” There is there where you are not. Here is here you are. “ And as they walk towards the spot between the wheelbarrow and the basked they sing. “Here always comes along. Here always comes along.” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EpPBpEKGsM4 Last edited by Grey_Wolf : 10-06-2010 at 07:11 AM. |

Lately I've gotten very interested in baritone ukuleles... apparently they are made so that it's like playing just the last four strings of a guitar.
I keep wanting to play guitar, and I love to just pluck and strum on the guitar I have at home, but my problem is that I find the guitar to be fairly bulky, and I don't like some of the finger stretches required for some really common cords. I tried playing some of the ukuklele cords on the last four strings of my guitar, aaaaaand... it was really easy. Hmmmm. So for now I think I might just use my guitar like a baritone uke, but come Christmas I might actually consider buying one. |

I don't want to start a massive fight/argument among my fellow Mooters, but why does a church preach hate, intolerance and disrespect?

Yeah, the WBC is generally a bunch of idiots. Between "Thank God for Dead Soldiers," "God Hates Fags," and "Nazi Germany was run by the Jews," there's not much worthwhile that comes out of them.

They're not really a church, they're just a bunch of hateful people with nothing better to do. The entire group is in need of a hobby. -_-

They already have one. Like Father Ted. They need a new one.

Ah, pastor Fred Phelps's hatemongering church is (in)famous over here in Europe as well.
