Great Expectations (BBC/Masterpiece Theatre) starring Ioan Gruffud. *sigh* I like ambiguous endings.

I saw Garden State on Friday.
It's a great movie for anyone who feels like they've lost their sense of what home is.

Got to see Butterfly Effect and, God, was I dissappoined.
I already read that this movie is crap but I had to see it to believe it. First it was quite interesting but in the end it just was annoying. Bad. Really bad.

Well I finally got around to seeing "The Last Samurai" and at least enjoyed the photography, philosophy and the story although the ending upset my "wa". Two others recently seen were "Lost in Translation" which is great at showing a westerners difficulties in modern Japan and "Love Actually" which was a very nice romantic movie without all the trappings of traditional hollywood fair.
