Re: odd fact
The Groundhogs disagreed on their Winter Forecast. (A Fact.)
I demand a recount! (An unreasonable desire.) |

The ratio for correct predictions for both the American and Canadian "national groundhog" for groundhog day is about --get this-- 30%! You'd be better of taking their predictions and switching them around!
Here's another goody: DELICIOUS FOOD ALERT This is one of my friends' recipe: Go to McDonald's Order a super-large french fries Add 6 bags of salt, 5 bags of pepper, 2 bags of ketchup, 5 bags of vinegar. Be sure to mix thoroughly. Voila: Le Wet Fris-De-French Deluxe WARNING: Keep a tray under the plastic french-fry bag at all times in case food gets so wet that it falls through. ENJOY! (note: I actually tried this... not exactly awfull, but very strange indeed) [/FOOD ALERT] How to take 3-D photographs: choose an object. Take a picture of it with your camera (vertical pictures work best). Move your camera 6cm to the right (or left) while focusing on the same object in the same way. Take another picture. Develop pictures. Take picture that you took slightly to the right, and put it on the left side of the one you took slightly to the left. So now they should be side-by-side. Cross your eyes until you see the two pictures come together. Now your right eye will be looking at the picture on the left side and vise-versa- so each eye is looking at the image that it would normally see if it were really looking at the object in the photos. Voila- the two pictures will combine to form one 3-D picture slightly smaller than the actual pictures. Go to this site: www.vision3d.com/ if you want more 3-D images/photos or if you can't focus your eyes adequetly. |

Re: ...
My Dutch class is ever so interesting. "Half elf" means 10:30. The province of Zeeland has lots of islands at the mouth of the Rhine, and its name means "sea-land". New Zealand was named after it.
