Which turned out to be those last couple of paragraphs which were apparently tagged on at the publisher's insistence.

When I was reading Crime and Punishment, I could not put it down. It was so suspenseful! I think I know what you are saying though, it was almost painful to read. Robert Louis Stevensen said: "All I can say is, it nearly finished me. It was like having an illness." I can't say I disagree with him. I don't think the ending was very happy, but I think it had a good ending, it was hopeful. Which do you think are his best books?

Well, I agree with Laura Bush that the Bros. K. is the greatest, but I like "The Idiot" and "The Devils/ The Possessed " (alternative titles) more.
A bit lighter- for Fyodor, anyway; of course they have the usual quota of murder, madness, and mayhem.

I have a library full of hundreds, maybe thousands of books. I can't part with any of them really. I've read most of them and some of my friends say I should sale some of them. Honestly, somehow I can't. I don't know if it's OCD or if it's just that it's difficult for me to part with anything.
