INTERVIEW WITH A VAMPIRE ROX, there is a girl here with a Claudia avitar, I can't remember her name, although, IWV didn't scare me at all. Now, want to talk freaky, take The Faculty, or, a funny/scary movie, My Best Friend is a Vampire, I always like old Dracula movies, but they didn't scare me, Darkness Falls was the freakiest thing I ever saw, next to IT, my step-dad forced me to watch it, and I was afraid of clowns, and people in full face masks before that! The Others was cool, The Sixth Sense made me sick to my stomach when the girl was on(the poisoned one), and the Chucky movies were just odd. Want to talk scary, watch George the Gay Donosaur(Barney). If you diss Mr. Rodgers you will find my wrath he died along with DST(Daniel Striped Tiger).

SCARY MOVIES ROCK FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Once upon a time there was a "favourite movie thread". Interview with a vampire was one of my favourites. Since I saw this film I can´t believe that Tom Cruise is one of the good guys. I always see his Lestat grin.

The movie IT did not really scare me but the book... OH MY GOD!

Can anyone remember an old Bette Davis movie where she played an old woman called Charlotte? They sang a song in it "Hush, hush, sweet Charlotte". That´s what I call scary!

Sleepy Hollow and Interview with a Vampire--best damn horror movies ever. Hush hush sweet Charlotte is freaky. Good movie though. My mom watches a lot of old Bette Davis movies but that was actually a good one. IT wasn't scary at all, neither was The Faculty. Anyone seen the Mothman Prophecies? That was weird. Not so much blood and gore, more of a pyschological thriller. The Silver Bullet I thought was excellent. More disturbing than scary though. Thats how a lot of good horror movies are.

LONG LIVE THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE WEE SCARVIES!

you'll have to excuse me, i'm not at my best
i've been gone for a month
i've been drunk since i left
there so-called vacations
will soon be my death
i'm so sick from teh drink
i need home for a rest
we arrived in december and london was cold
so we stayed in thebars
along charing cross road
we never saw nothin' but brass taps and oak
kept a shine on the bar
with the sleeves of our coats
-chorus-
euston station the train journey north
in the buffet car we lurched back and forth
past odd crooked dykes
through yorkshire's green fields
we were flung into dance
as the train jigged and reeled
you'll have to excuse me, i'm not at my best
i've been gone for a month
i've been drunk since i left
there so-called vacations
will soon be my death
i'm so sick from teh drink
i need home for a rest
take me home....
by the light of the moon she'd drift through the streets
a rare old perfume so seductive and sweet
she'd tease us and flirt as the pubs all closed down
then walk us on home and deny us a round
-chorus-
the gas heater's empty, it's damp as a tomb
and the spirits we drank are not ghosts in the room
i'm knackered again, come on sleep take me soon
and don't lift up my head
'till the the twelve bells at noon
you'll have to excuse me, i'm not at my best
i've been gone for a month
i've been drunk since i left
there so-called vacations
will soon be my death
i'm so sick from teh drink
i need home for a rest

Good Lord! Long Time Dead! Gosh, that was a scary movie! I must admit that at one point it induced a squeal from me. Though I don't really know what the title was about. But a spectacular horror.

Ok, now I've seen Interview with a Vampire too. Very, very good, indeed. It was a high quality movie, IMO. There were a few scenes that made me jump a bit, but it still managed to be more than a monster movie. Really, really good.

I didn't even recognise Tom Cruise! I never realised it was him until I saw the credits!

I never said that The Faculty was scary, I said it was freaky, but, it has, 2 HOT dudes in it(Elijah Wood=Casey & Josh Harnet=Zeke), and 1 guy from....That 70's Show(Stephen "Hyde"). IT scared me to death because I HATE CLOWNS, with a passion! IWV IS THE BEST, even though it is not scary, I think it is one of the best Vampire movies of all time. Queen of teh Damned startes out, quite similar to IWV, it even has a character named Lestat. QoD was freaky, what I saw of it, freaky, but very very good.

Yes, I should certainly think so. Though some of his fangirls might disagree...

o_O.......hobbit porn? Is that even legal?

Two more films to add to my growing list of disturbed nightmares (sorry, did I mention I'm talking about horror movies, not porn? .......tho' I've seen some pretty disturbing skin-flicks as well).

The Prophecy - Starring Christopher Walken as the angel Gabriel. Basic war of the Angels type of stuff (and it has Viggo Mortenstien (sp?) playing the part of Lucifer) *listens to the patter of fangirl feet as they rush down to Blockbuster*.

The Mothman Prophecies - Not very scary but quite atmospheric (and ol' hamster-lover Richard Gere plays a surprisingly good character)

Hmm, maybe PJ's movies aren't that far from porn: There's the "Evenstar" , Aragorn gets with a horse, little Hobbit and old man lie around naked, and of course, there's the blatant ape-rey of literary perfection.

Elijah read PORN in The Faculty, and he reads a Victoria Secret in Flipper, and I though Flipper was a kids movie! Oh well, he was in loads of dark roles, he likes them for some unknown reason.

Mmmmm - yeah Mothman Prophecies was a good movie - slight voyeuristic (sp?) inclination IMO.

Talk about scary skin flicks - saw a weird one on the net - what a laugh (prolly shouldn't discuss details here). These just fall into a whole new category of "Horror", 'specially some of those amatuer jobbies

Blech, I've seen some terrible ones. Hardcore porn was illegal in the UK until a couple of years ago (so all porn was illegally imported)............the result was, I was almost fluent in German by the time I was 15

Here too (not that I watch the stuff often, but they mostly fall into two categories - Freaky Sh*it; this category includes the bizarre combination of really badly filmed sex scenes to which the director has attempted to add an even worse storyline. Invariably they include titles such as Sidewalk Shaggers, Highway Ho's, Debbie does...(everything in sight) etc. The second main category is the Scary Sh*it - these are those really weird foreign skinnies that rely not only on bad sex scenes & dialogue, but also a seedy 'underground' scene added to the mix & perhaps a farm animal or two). These include titles such as Achkum Baby, Hard*ock Cafe etc).

Point is these flicks are best viewed as an educational tool.

Oh, btw - we used o refer to them as "blue Movies" so when I was small I used to think that the screen was literally blue & always wondered what the use of that would be - who wants to sit & watch a blue screen for an hour?
