Also Death, who is perhaps even cooler, he too from the Discworld series. In fact, all the characters in discworld are so cool they ought to be here, but... |

Falagar's top 10-list right now:
1.+2. Will and Lyra from Pullman's "His Dark Material" 3. Fëanor 4.+5. Death and Sam Vimes from Pratchett's Discworld-books 6. The robot Marvin from The Hitch-hiker's guide to the galaxy 7. Frodo 8. Hercule Poirot 9. Aziraphale from Good Omens by Pratchett and Gaiman 10. Though not finished the whole book/play, Hamlet is a good character... These are my favorites right now.

My favorite characters, besides Galadriel, Aragorn, Éowyn, and Frodo are: Lord Peter Wimsey and Harriet Vane; Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson; Nero Wolfe and Archie Goodwin; Kinsey Milhone; and Oscar Gordon from The Glory Road, by Robert A. Heinlein.
