Indeed! There's nothing as sustaining as a nice, plump little bat.

What were Uncle Andrew's rings made of?

I don't know whether it says what the rings themselves were made of - but the "active substance" in them, so to speak, was dust that had been salvaged from Atlantis before it fell.
So maybe they were made of that dust, too, not just containing it?

Well, dust in general is what I was looking for.

There used to be a lot more participants in the previous Narnia Trivia thread!
Come on folks, this needn't be a game just for Midge and myself! Am I asking too difficult questions, or aren't you reading the thread at all? *ahem* What was the entry just before 'Man' in the Giants' cookery book?

I think they're just not looking at the thread at all. I had a post sitting here for two or three months before you answered it.
... Mallard? I can't remember if there was another in between the two or if that was all. Sticks "rule" in the cookery book under "Rottweiler."

I blame the New Posts-feature - which, while being useful, also tends to make me ignore anything that isn't a new post.
Mallard, then Man, then Marshwiggle. Your turn.

Uh... What was the name of the beloved Calormene (I think there's only one, but you may be able to make a case for a different one)?

You may have to wait for a while before I remember his name. I remember the "he called me Beloved" bit, but I can't think of his name.
Perhaps someone else can?

I was just thinking of all the friends of Narnia saying how "they almost love this young warrior!"
stupid idiot rule.

His name came to me in the end!
He's called Emeth. Yes, we're talking about the same young warrior, who was also called 'beloved' by Aslan when he met him. What's the idiot rule? 90 seconds between posts?

yep.
I usually pick this one right after I get done with a post somewhere else, so it turns out I've not waited the right amount of time. You've got the answer! You go!

Which two coins are common in Narnia? (And I mean Narnian coins, not foreign ones.)
If others are mentioned than the two I'm thinking of, I'll accept those as well, if I'm given the reference.

LIONS and TREES!
They fell out of the pockets of Lord.. Octavian? On the Island of Deathwater. That last part was just to see how much I've retained from my + 50 readings of the books in my past.

Quote:
But Octesian didn't get as far as to Deathwater Island, Eustace found his armring in the cave where he became a dragon. The lord who died on the Island of Deathwater, was Lord Restimar. And now I've spoilt those as Trivia Questions for a long while Anyway, Lions and Trees is correct!

Well... Apparently, I need to read up on my seven Narnian noble lords.
What did Puddleglum use as a mug in Harfang?

The porter says, "You needn't mention it over at the House. The silver will keep on getting over here, and it's not my fault."
As a hint.
