I couldn't stay awake through the entire Minnesota/Colorado game, so I was sure that Colorado would take the series last night.

Imagine my surprise when I woke up and found out that the Wild took it!

yea i have been hearing a whole bunch of people saying that. and canucks and sens are probably the top three teams in the playoffs since colarado and detroit are out

I was referring to American teams, not American players. Canadian teams need a serious financial boost, and a Cup win (I don't believe we've had one since Montreal in '93) would be the first step.

Now if only my hometown team (the Flames) would actually get back to being a viable hockey club...

who watched the canucks game last night. did you see the goal with 1.4 seconds left to tie it up in the third. and then klatt scored in overtime. that is probably one of the best games ever.
