Yep. That's my name, too. And I also found the translation on a website somewhere, that I don't remember. That's where I got my name here...Eruyauve shortened, and with an -iel on the end (don't ask me why...I'm not sure myself).

lessee..i think i searched google for 'elvish names' or something like that. actually, you can go to ardalambion, there's something on there but it doesn't include the name Elizabeth, that's why i went elsewhere.
no, we're not all Eruyauve (yes i know u were j/k) cuz Elizabeth means 'house of god' (load o'bull, IMHO) which translates to Eruyauve. i could go on and on, but i'd rather not cuz i tend to be rather longwinded...heh heh...go find your elvish name!

To find your Elvish name:
Do a search for "Quenya babybook." That's not quite how I found it, but you get the site by doing that. I don't remember the exact name of the site, but surely you'll find something. Now I ought to look up "Sindarin babybook..."

Don't answer this if you don't want to TinuvielChild but are you saying you're 13!
Seriously, the youth on this board are far beyond me when I was thier age and beyond anyone thier age that i know. Of course they could all be 40 yr olds unloading the bull with a shovel.

Also I found this site:
http://www.inf.upol.cz/~mullerr/theresa/names.html

Lots of names there
Mine's Carnilmo.

In the same web page there's
http://www.inf.upol.cz/~mullerr/theresa/spelling.html
which is how to spell in Quenya and
http://www.inf.upol.cz/~mullerr/ther...html#creations
which is I belive the home page to this whole thing and has a pic of a really hot chick.
It's intresting what you can find on the net.

I'll just pick my own Elvish name, since in reality I'm stuck with a name that means "soft-haired one, youthful", and the Elves seem to care about names, so what kind of impression do I want to give people?

sure, it hurt - but pain is subjective & i have a higher pain tolerance than some. actually what was most annoying is the week or two afterword when it's 'healing', itches like mad and you can't scratch it!

i missed the reference - 'what' is 'vendea'?

Ok so now my name is Vinyagrothion but if I put my middle name in as well it's Telpeborion (with a double dot over the second "e").
I like those names better but I want to know how they get them.

P.S.
I'm Bazhur the Looter in Orcish
Rudigar Greenthumb from Tighfield as a Hobbit
And Malin Marbleguard in Dwarvish

The problem with BarrowDowns' name generator is that usually you get really long names. Not to say it isn't really cool...I love that site!

My elvish name is Moradvialien, which I like but it's so frickin' long!!! Also, I do alot of fanfiction, and most of the elves' names are long and they're such a pain to right over and over and over again.........BACK TO THE SUBJECT!! lol

My bro has a tattoo on his back that says Dude? on it, and he said it hurt to get it on

P.S My hobbit name is Elanor Cotton from the Far Downs
My WHOLE elf name is Moradvialien Nuraeariel Sindamacar *gasps for breath*
My dwarf name is so dumb I won't even mention it here
And my orc name Globluk.........
And *drumroll* in Middle Earth, I was laughing Rohirrim(?!)

Then again, the likelyness of my being threatened by a heathen and whether a list would change his mind is very slim, so I'll save myself some time and not write a list!'

I'd get a tatoo on my left shoulder blade or my right calf, most likely after much exhaustive reasearch as to what I'm absolutely sure, without a doubt wanting to place on my body permanantly. Most likely something writ in Chineese or Elvish (just to keep in context with the thread *hehehe*j/k). Personally, I like the writing that's on the one ring (the old elvish from the land of Mordor) better then any other elvish writing I've seen. I like all the "tails" the letters have.

I'd never get a tattoo, baut my ears are pierced and it barely hurt. (I know...slightly off-topic... but who cares) And it is easy to abolish any ear-piercing pain by reading LotR right after you get home. That's what I did.
