I'd live in either the Shire, the Grey Havens, or Laurelindorinan (aka Lothlorien).

The Glittering Caves of Helms Deep that Gimli was ruler of before he departed for the Undying Lands would be the best place for me...
Of course, I'd travel a lot...love to see Gondor, the White City, wouldn't you?

Oh yeah, I forgot about the Glittering Caves . . . Hhmmm . . . hoom . . . Maybe I won't live anywhere at all. Maybe I'll just travel around and see whatever I want to.

Since that post is for Lord Of The Rings i'd prefer Osgiliath before it's ruin.... but as for the whole Tolkien world it would definitly be Gondolin....and oh Tirion ofcourse

The Gray Havens, definately. I love the sea. Ithilien would be nice too though, well maybe Ithilien in the winter and the Grey Havens in the summer, with stops at Lothlorien and Rivendell while I was traveling between them.

Live? Where would I live? Everywhere! I'd carry with me everything I need and nothing I don't, and I'd travel most the lands. I'd probably pick up some companions on the way for company
Then, when I got really old, I'd park my ass in the Grey Havens and live happily ever after 'til I die six days later. The end. |

I also would travel around visiting everywhere, in particular the Glittering Caves of Aglarond and abodes of the Elves in Greenwood, Laurelindorenan and Imladris.
But for my permanent home when i wasn't travelling I'd choose Ithilien after it's been restored by Legolas and his elves.

Clearly Angmar was THE place to be in the Third Age:
*low property taxes *low cost of living *the Angmar Fell Beasts, our Evil Soccer Team *the world-renowned Angmar Wailing Chorus of the Damned *terrific schools *and much, much more! If you are a young professional looking for a great place to start out, come to Angmar!

I would want to live in Rivendel because...
I think that it's the most beautiful, safe and peaceful place all over Middle Earth. Last edited by Radagast The Brown : 07-27-2003 at 04:48 PM. |

I think I want to be an elf, or a traveler and to be in lots of places I want to live in Rivendel, or luthlorien and to see all the other places (not all the places just the pritty)

I'd live in Doriath-the best of both worlds under one forested roof!

It's all about Osgilliath. The New York of the early third age without the crime graffiti or assorted troubles-all the fun.

Bag End, Rivendell or Lothlorien. I absolutely love the fall, and the way it was described was beautiful...ahhh....

Why stick to one place-I'd travel all over! (wait, NOT to Mordor. Definitely not to Mordor) But if I had to pick one place, I'd live in Lothlorien, Rivendell or in Mirkwood.

The Shire, without a doubt. Hobbiton, Tookland, Michel Delving. Makes no difference. The Shire's the perfect place to forget about all your worries.
