I'd say google for 'freeware midi converter'. Wanna bet you'll come up with dozens of them?

Wanna bet that: a) none of them is mp3 to midi, but vice versa; b) as freeware (usually) convert first 15 secs of the song c) the good ones are so well hidden that I can't find them from those dozens? I did try.

And Gwai, no. I meant an mp3-to-midi.

Glad to know.

You should have specified that then!
Did you try 'mp3 to midi converter'?
Why would you want to convert an mp3 to midi though? I'd think that mp3 is already quite clear? *hasn't a clue*

Good luck in your search!

Yes, I did.

The reason for this unlucky hunt is that with a program called Synthesia, I could use the midi files and learn how to play songs - it only reads midis. Check Synthesia on youtube, and you'll get why I love it.

Thanks!

I got some new shirts and jeans today, as well as picking up my new glasses, and in a bit I have Tai Chi. All in all a pretty awesomesauce day.

Still trying to figure out/plan out my free day in DC. Suggestions are still welcome... I'm almost feeling like I might go hit the Smithsonian museum(s) again, and I'm reconsidering the zoo. If I get there right when they open it shouldn't be -so- hot that I can't handle it, and I really wanna see those pandas!!!!!

Oh, did I mention that today was extra super cool because I finally found an awesome, awesome 'snap' shirt? You know, an oxford that has snaps instead of buttons. I've been wanting one for forever, but the only ones I could find looked like lame cowboy reject shirts... but I finally found a nice one!

My boyfriend has one of those. It's kind of fun to rip the buttons open. ( Shocking.)

WOW.

Just... wow....

You must really love to iron. I assume you're ripping the shirt off so you can take full advantage of your womanly rights and... you know.... iron stuff.

True story: I will now seek every opportunity to tear my shirt open because you have put the idea in my head. Perhaps next time I am singing a high note with great virility? Oh, a whole new world of ways to embarrass, confuse, and perhaps even frighten the people around me has just opened up! See? I TOLD you this was an awesomesauce day.

I am 100% in favor of this idea. Do you wear shirts underneath it? My bf always wears these white undershirts that he has dozens of. I'm not sure which would be funnier.

Yeah I wear an undershirt with it. I don't like the look of shirts like that without something underneath it because it makes the wearer look scrawny, unless they're super buff.

I agree. Having an undershirt looks better all around.

"And we're back on M.O.O.T 102,2 with the Moots playing this Peter, Paul & Mary tune esp for Midge, slightly changed and now rebroadcasted..."

Midge, the magic baker, made some tasty cakes
Baking cakes soo tasty soo, a baker like her makes.

All the other Mooters, loved her delish cakes
And brought her sugar and wheat flour mix
and some useful rakes.

Midge, the magic baker, made some tasty cakes
Baking cakes soo tasty soo, a baker like her makes.

Midge, the magic baker, made some tasty cakes
Baking cakes soo tasty soo, a baker like her makes.

Together, we would gather, watching her in delight
Watching her make tasty wonders . It was lovely sight

Jonathan and Hector would drool quite a lot
Midge lovely cakes were so very hot,
their drool made a pool.

Midge, the magic baker, made some tasty cakes
Baking cakes soo tasty soo, a baker like her makes.

Midge, the magic baker, made some tasty cakes

Cookie-Monsters lives forever,
Not so the cakes themselves.

Chocolate chips and lovely dough
Makes lovely mixes tho.

One post is really all
it takes to make us drool.

Midge, the magic baker,
Slipped in the slippery pool.

We all gathered near her
To see if we what we could do.

Midge got up quite easy.
And made another dough.

Another round cookies
Were soon on their way.

All the Mooters gathered
Watching many a tray.

Baking cakes soo tasty soo, a baker like her makes.

"Tonight on W-M.O.O.T.-TV we feature a special version of an episode of Miami Vice starring Hector as Crockett, N.E.L. as Tubbs and Troll's Bane as Castillo, the White Chariot episode..."

NEL: "You know he's only pulling your strings, man. Prolly trying to run that buddy stuff. Hey man, the Gladden Fields."

Hector: "Oh, he's got a new scam this time, pal. He's got Gondorian troops in Mordor."

NEL: "How do you hook into that?"

Hector: "Just chariot and inn service."

NEL laughs, looking into the Palantir. Troll's Bane walks in on his way to his office. Hector gets up and walks over to him.

Hector: "He's out of here by noon today."

NEL: "TB, I got one for you." pointing at the glowing sphere.

Hector: "Lieutenant, Lieutenant! I know that there certain procedures that have to followed and what we're dealing with here is an intense Minas Tirithian list of commands, but it has been one month, one month, since the Rohirrim mount got killed. Im trying to maintain an Minas Tirith approved cover here and if I keep showing up for triffling golden ring affairs looking like Gollum it aint gonna cut it!"

Troll's bane mumbles something.

Hector: "What?"

TB just looks at him. The scene switches to a white chariot. A white horse stands at the head of it.

Hector: "Rohirrim at its best. Runs like the wind, comfortable ride. New armour and new wheels."

NEL: "Absolutely essential for any type of serious Grey Company work."

Hector: "Got that right." He gets up in the chariot and prompts the horse to show a bit of its power.

At a another location near Osgiliath on a small sailing ship a man is talking into a mini-palantir..."Believe me, Saruman, I understand..."

The scene switches back to Hector putting the horse and carriage through its paces.

The scene switches again. An Southerner waiting by desk behind which an elf-woman informs him and hands over pass to back to Minas Tirith and says:
"Go to the nearest landing-place, here is your ticket."

Meanwhile, Hector arrives, the lanterns, magically, flashes, and the Southerner spots them and says to the elf-woman: "Im sorry, I forgot my bag of moneys."

The elf woman withholds the ticket. As the southener turns to go, Hector prompts his horse to go faster, the southener turns and runs.

Two guard elfs talks into mini-palantirs. Hector, who has driven his carriage into the port, stops in front of the southener, he runs up to it and gets in, Hector (being undercover), speeds off, the two guard elves, in another carriage, speed after them.

During the chase, the two guard elves, begins to fire arrows at the white carriage. The incredible, speedy chase continues until Hector drives through an alley and underneath a low bridge. The carriage with the two guard elves is effective stopped in its tracks, one of the elves gets out, dazed, and sees Hector speed off.

After a while, Hector, says to the southener:
"Well, my friend, the truth now. There is a command out for your arrest for the murder of that man in Harad. We are moving very fast."

"You allowed me to get on your carriage. I was in the port. I had given back the inn ticket, view the bull on ships sailing on my arrival. You saw me at the port guard desk."

Hector: "Until the truth is revealed I will take you to the last place Saruman will look."

The southener: "Where is that? The dungouns?"

Hector: "Very much so."

The southener: "That is wonderful, Hector. What about my encounter with this true bard?"

Hector: "I will see to that."

And then Hector drives his carriage into the carriage way of an inn.
