Yep, storm here as well for the past 2 days now. Didn't sleep very well last night because of the howling of the wind (I live on the topfloor) but at least it has stopped raining. I think it's worse in your area though.

I just freaked out my neighbour (the non-cooking one): I had put on chicken, potato and several different kind of seeds and pitts (?) in my huge pan and that usually smokes a bit. The seeds were starting to roast when I went back to my room to get the cashewnuts and as I head back to the kitchen my neighbour comes storming towards me saying that my food is burning and exploding! Off course it wasn't and it was a good opportunity to teach him that the first thing you do when you suspect something is going horribly wrong is to turn off the stove

I had to try very hard not to laugh. I think I managed

Where did those monsters of you go by the way, GW? I liked some of them okay.
As long as they don't tickle, poke, slobber, molest, peep, pinch, kiss, grope or declare their undying love*.

But I'm off for tonight. I have an early class tomorrow and I have some catching up on sleep to do. Fortunately the wind has gone down to almost normal levels. We survived the storm with a lot of broken fences etc. One person died though

He was hit by some flying debris.
