There are times when I think I have an anti-large gathering forcefield around me. I swear, whenever other people organize parties people come and it's happy and much fun.
Human Pi and I try to have a party and what happens? Half our friends don't respond as to whether they can come or not, Tano goes to canada and Klatukatt has relatives to visit with. *glowers unhappily*

Well it isn't as if our parties are drastically different from the type of parties that our friends throw, it's just we always have crazily bad luck with the timing. That and more limited communication.

That's why I don't throw parties, my friends have too bloody busy lives! You should see the planning that goes into just trying to have a dinner together in town every month or two...
VENT: I DON'T want to become sick! Not now. Well, not ever, really, but just not now. Still need to finish book database... Only have one more day. Fne!

What a way to start the new year.... Spending 5 hours of mopping and drying the carpet of the 200 liters of water that leaked out of the big aquarium in the living room... *moans*
I'm sore all over...

The aquarium is old, older than me even, but one of the valves on the filter came lose and 3/4 of the bloody thing bled dry on the ground before we noticed.

That's never fun... I love hardwood floors!
VENT: Can't find the custom title suggestion thread. It's NOWHERE TO BE FOUND! I can't even remember what forum it's in. When I did a board-wide search, nothing! Where is it? EDIT: Never mind...It's "User Titles," not "Custom Titles."

VENT: my sister who doesn't visit Sweden all that often (she lives with her family in Australia) has a thoroughly volatile temper and today when she was going to use our old (for the moment only) internetcapable computor to go check out something on the net, it all of sudden didn't work (it had worked perfectly yesterday) and she exploded and began yanking the mouse and keyboard-connections out of the computor and putting them in again several times in the mistaken notion that it would make it work.
Repeatedly I tried to tell that the comp had froze and needed only to be shut off and put on again (this being the emergency only option, not to be used otherwise) and carefully activated, letting it slowly open the entire system and then, with patience, letting the internet-connection activate itself and yet again, then, with patience let the computor load up the site she was interested (that is her emailsite) . But being her she wouldn't listen of course. So now I'm home at my apartment in peace and quite for the duration of the day. Last edited by Grey_Wolf : 01-03-2006 at 05:41 AM. |

Oh. Computers going crazy. :/
My vent: my phone is going crazy. It says I have a message, but according to the service center I don't. I'm trying to figure out from the manual what else that little symbol could mean... not much success. Ack.
