Just so you know, Abasi has taken a bit of a dislike to Baru already. This isn't something she should be overly concerned about, as he doesn't really like anyone who isn't Kindi, but just thought I'd tell you. It will be interesting to see her reaction to everything thathas happened. I will wait for you to post before I do, so as not to make it any more complicated.

I'm at work 11-7 today, with no Internet access, but I do gave my trusty iPhone which can post quite well (as you can see). Won't have much time to use it, though, I'm sure to be busy. But I certainly will check on my lunch break for replies.
I love playing Abasi, especially now that Tabril is back. I talked to Aika quite a bit last night and we've got some interesting plot ideas!! Can't wait!

It's interesting - and fun - to play with both of you!

I like the three-way conversation, very interesting. Although I'm somewhat surprised that Barufiniel would use the name of Melkor so freely, even in this Fourth Age. I had asumed all Eldar stuck to Morgoth.

Since Tabril used the Kindi version of it, Baru expects that she would be most familiar with that version. She hasn't got to the point in her story yet where Fëanor first calls him Morgoth.
And if this three-way conversation isn't complicated enough as to what did Baru actually hear and what didn't she, and what has she told them, there is also the fourth element which is the next part of the story that I wrote last night to post when I got my internet connection back - and then Abasi turned up and I had to scrap it So - what did she actually tell them, and what had I meant her to have told them? I have to reread carefully ... Edit: Only the conversation has now stopped.

Sorry, Abasi's a bit prickly.

Tabrîl never got the memo on the Melkor/Morgoth issue.
Don't worry though, Varna, I'm sure Baru will get a chance to tell more of the story a little later!

Well, there's something for Baru to react to. And now, since she's injured, they'll have to talk again.

Baru has reacted - good job I only had her be quite passive at the end, since you wrote two more posts while I was writing mine
And now Tabril has forgotten Baru and walked off on her - which is for the best story-wise, since I don't know when I'll be able to post, and it would hold up the story if she had to wait for Baru's response. We can have our characters talk more later when the story isn't moving as fast.

Loved your post, Willow - poor Haldis! I wonder if she knows it's Tabrîl's fault.

Thanks!
She'll figure it out - she's seen them playing the game enough to put two and two together when she sees Tabril's arm bandaged.

Abasi takes no blame in the matter. if they asked him about it, he'd answer something like "The fault was not in my throw but in her catch. And injuries in the game are honorably earned."

Just so that Baru knows - and I don't know whether I'll be able to post today - are they still speaking Quenya, or have they forotten that they started this to sing to her? She will not be surprised if they suddenly change language, with the emotions that seem to be involved.

Well, we're trying to indicated, but in case it's not clear, they've been talking to each other in their own language, but when he insulted her, it was in her language.

Sorry about the abbreviation - this Nokia is ill suited for edits. I'll amend it when I'm on a real computer.

Boy, you guys are fast, I can barely keep up! (But don't let this slow you down. )
Just a head's up, we're nearing the 1000 replies in the game thread, so don't forget to make a new thread when we've reached it. Given the speed of the game these days I may not be on line to do it myself.

Haldis - Baru is stuck
Also I'm back at work after my summer holidays, so less time to post during the day Sometimes Abasi reminds me of Fëanor. At least of the way Rinkë plays Fëanor

Haldis was stuck too... her writer wasn't actually up to writing the chant that she offered right now. But do feel free to pester her for a follow up later on in the game.
