I shall third it. The only requirements are:
1) A knowledge of "The Hobbit" (this extends only as far as a vague knowledge of the storyline, really...) 2) More-or-less correct spelling and wossnames while in RPG....really, just no "internet speak." I don't know about others but that drives me insane. 3) A willingness to be totally crazy and wacko and destroy the plot utterly. Which seems to make point 1) moot. You seem to be well outfitted for the job! Welcome on board. *sly grin* -tano

Welcome Ms. Undomial! Nice entrance.
Welcome back to Garina! Of whom I feared she would not return to the entmoot. Welcome to the return of the TLA! I'll send your drawing as soon as I can access my map on Willie. EXK, do you want your Gemma-character to be the evil twin?

Well Garina, so far every one WANTS to have an evil twin but I don't think it'll matter if you don't want one. So if you don't want one, you don't have to take one.
EXK it's okay with me if you want to be evil. But wait a minute.... what are you doing with us on our trip then? Spying on us eh? Now I'm on to you! Spies! Thieves! Mordor....er Murder! Fire!

It's just that I have found my "long lost twin" through some mutual friends and as far as I'm concerned we're both evil!
She might pop up somewhere along the line - I have to get my first fire extinguisher from somewhere! Wouldn't fire extinguishers work against dragons as well as balrogs...

As you can see, I don't hang out here muchly anymore. There's a good reason for this. Y'see, I've been hanging out at a different chatboard called Cardboardia. So far, I've been havin' a blast. Not that I don't love the TLA, but the magic of Entmoot is lost on me. So, as soon as TLA ends, so will my existance here, probably. Who knows though? I might stay. Highly unlikely however. This is a good bye in advance, then. Unless you want to join me and my group of friends at Cardboardia. Cheers! |

Er...speaking of physical representations of of our phyches, a few good freinds of mine brought up an interesting point, and I wanted you guyses opinionated opinions.
I am a female. I like it quiet a bit. So when I posted in the TLA, I made Human a female. But in another role playing thread, I posted Human, and didn't really specify gender, and Katt and willow brought this up. We laughed and made jokes, and 'twas all in fun! Now back in the TLA, I'm posting as Penguin (Human having been turned into Penguin by Zandalf.) So I just want to know... What do you think? Is Penguin a guy penguin or a girl penguin? And if Penguin is a girl because Human was a girl, wouldn't it stand to reason that the sack of apples was a girl sack of apples? And the apples them selves would have to be females too. And the book! Ler's not forget that book now! Any I was just wondering what you thought, this being the discussion thread and all...

When did we bring gender up? I certainly didn't, it must have been Katt... Either that or I'm losing my memory... Oh Well.
Aeryn, don't ask, just read TLA and if you still don't understand just don't ask.

I finnally poked the penguin Eliza.
And it was me who brought up the gender issue. I think we decided that this Human in this thread was a girl, and the one in "War for Middle Earth" was a boy. But about the female/male, penguin, sack of apples question, apples are androgynous. So are penguins (mostly). In conclusion, any person turning into an animal (or fruit or vegetable or mineral or whatever else there is in this world, but I don't mean just this world, just all worlds in general you know, I'm not trying to discount the other worlds you know, it's just a figure of speech, I'm not being biased or anything, I respect all worlds that you can think up, or I can think up, or anyone else for that matter, it's just any object that is not a defined race, or does not have a reasonable comprehension of speech, or whatever. I think you got the point by now) shall lose all perception of gender unless it makes sense in the story. (ie: talking horses, Smaugkatt, the Smaugetts, s----) *Gets sword-twoped™ by Claenoic* Ow Edit: Spell Check Also, since we are on the subject (not really but I thought I'd bring it up because... *Gets sword-twoped™ by Claenoic* Fine) The word for feeling confused and happy at the same time is confuzzled. It is also warm along with happy and confused. Ok I think I'm done now. Phew! 1417 charactors! Wow!
