Good luck. Lots of homework for me. *sigh* And I thought weekends were for relaxation.

BAHHH! SATs tomorrow
Don't worry, they're not as bad as some tests you could be taking

I'm on a Chinese food craze. I've been cooking it all week and looking at more recipes. It's driving me crazy but at the same time it's kinda cool.

I've taken them once, here I am, taking them AGAIN! And probably another time, sweet life.

I'm right with you, Mari, I can't relax with this test! And finals all next week, plus pre-calc project due monday, *sigh*

Hello all. It's very quiet in here nowadays isn't it? I remember business used to be positively booming back when Orlando Bloom was cool.

We already did the voting thing and we got bloody PVV! *is outraged* Thank heavens D'66 also won a lot, though I didn't vote for them.
*steals a cup of Earn's calming tea* Sorry, needed it >_<

Right, so now I'd better get on with my homework. *sigh* I swear, they invented these assignments just because they want to torture us.

We're voting to the European Parliament on Sunday too. I think elections are cheerful events so I don't crave any calming tea

I like elections. I'm just a little bit too far from Europe right now to vote in this one, though!

Ok, so this week we were telling the kids at school Bible stories, and they were asked 'who made the world?' The lesson was in Kiswahili, not the kids' first language, and so instead of answering 'Mungu' (God) one said 'nungu nungu' (a porcupine) That's my language-related amusement for the week.

I also stepped on a thorn 2 inches long from a spiky plant yesterday. It went right through my sandal and into my foot. That was...not so much fun.

Vote by proxy?

Hehe, oops. It probably sounds a bit alike though?

Voting by proxy...wish I'd thought of that when I was still at home!

I can walk - actually, when it first happened, I just pulled it out and carried on with my washing. It wasn't until that evening that it started hurting a lot. I'm hoping it'll be ok in a few days.

Today, I have about 3 hours to kill until I can go home. I've already done all my shopping...I wonder if it's insane to spend another 3 hours here in the internet cafe...

I don't see why it would be insane. You probably have airco there, right?
But maybe you can go do some touristy stuff? Don't go home feeling you haven't seen everything there is to see!

Oh, and maybe buy some disinfectant for that foot of yours.

Heh, I took more medical supplies with me than I could ever reasonably need. The foot is well taken care of, don't worry.

Tourist stuff would be a good idea, but it's too late to go into Nairobi now and rural Maasailand isn't the most touristy of places. I have yet to find anywhere that sells chocolate, which proves there can't be many tourists here.

I think I'll stay until it's time to leave or I run out of things to do online, whichever comes first.

Sounds like you need relatives or family to send you some chocolate ASAP.

And what I need to do, is to kick myself in the behind and GET STARTED ON THAT HOMEWORK!!! >_< *whacks self*

No, go ahead, I can see you need it and there's plenty.

At least (I believe) Wilders said he wouldn't take the European seat even if he had enough personal votes. Still, I suppose that has its own drawback, at least he won't be messing things up in Europe, but you'll still be stuck with him in the Netherlands.

I envy you. Democracy is all fine and dandy, but sometimes I wish it didn't involve all these windbag @#%* politicians. If it was just the European election, it wouldn't have been so bad, but we've got the regional elections Sunday too.

Heheh, that's the first time I see chocolate being used as an indicator for tourism.
