Thank you Radagast.

Frodo met a company of elves in the woody end at the beginning of his exile. To what house did their leader belong?

Although his troop wanders about Middle earth he may stay at Rivendell from time to time, but I was referring to his lineage--he belongs to one of the great houses of the Noldor.

If you know what it is, then you know of its importance.

Wasn't it (in Dwarvish) one of the peaks of the Misty Mountains?

I know what it is. There was mithril found, and there was the final battle of Gandalf and the Balrog as well as Durins tower. Enough?

I'm going to have to give this one to Lalaith. It was one of the peaks of the Misty Mountains (Barrelridder), but more importantly, it was the peak over Khaza-dum.

By the way, no-one correctly answered my question, which was "Name, in chronological order, all those who held the One Ring (including those who held it only briefly)."

You forgot at least two.
