Kronk quote
[Kronk's Shoulder Angel and Devil debate saving Kuzco]
Kronk's Shoulder Devil: Listen up, big guy. I got three good reasons why you should just walk away. Number one. Look at that guy! He's got that sissy stringy music thing.
Kronk's Shoulder Angel: We've been through this. It's a harp, and you know it.
Kronk's Shoulder Devil: Oh, right. That's a harp, and that's a dress.
Kronk's Shoulder Angel: Robe!
Kronk's Shoulder Devil: Reason number two. Look what I can do. Ha-ha, ha!
[does one-armed handstand]
Kronk: But what does that have to do with me?
Kronk's Shoulder Angel: No, no. He's got a point.
Kronk: Listen, you guys. You're sort of confusing me, so, um, begone... or, uh, however I get rid of you guys.
Kronk's Shoulder Devil, Kronk's Shoulder Angel: That'll work.
[Angel and devil disappear]

Yay! I love that movie.

Essay's a compare and contrast essay over McCain and Obama and Bush. We pick three issues and compare McCain and Obama's views on it, and tell it's current status under the Bush administration.

My teacher wanted us to stay up and ready with current events and she thought his name was spelled "Obamah".

I'll take it. *thanks*

Best part? One of my friends came over and decided to spend the night. So now I've got none of it written, AND company. But it's a good distraction.

I missed Nauti?

Keizer Kuzco (the emperors new groove) is nice! Me likes it, even the Dutch version. Road to El Dorado is nice too. *is a Disney junkie*

Will do! If I did make the decision to go (and when I had the money) I'd really like to get off the beaten track a bit... so any advice from someone who has actually been there would be amazing

Morning... er... actually it's the afternoon here ^^

I tried coffee for the first time yesterday... shall be having a nice cup in a minute

But I've found I actually like coffee, Mari! I can't give it up now!

*gives the Philosophical Monster some coffee, searches desperately for some small talk*

So um... how about that Allegory of the Cave?

Are you drinking coffee black, no sugar?

If you aren't. you don't like "coffee" and there's still time to switch to a beverage that's better for you.

And maybe not hideously expensive.

For me, the interesting thing about the Cave Allegory is why no one turns around.

No, not drinking black coffee... I'm not a masochist!

Lol... I very very rarely drink coffee.... today was the first time I ever had a proper cup. For the most part I drink rooibos tea and water. Sometimes I drink orange juice. And I don't think this coffee was too expensive lol.

Aren't they chained to their chairs or something? I forget... it's been awhile since philosophy class...

Right, but that begs the question, doesn't it?

What chains us to our chairs? Plato makes a number of assumptions about the nature of reality that I find somewhat suspect.

*Offers everyone in the Cafe some freshly baked wheat bread*

Butter? Marmalade? Jam? Honey?

It is my conclusion... that Plato needs to be chained to his own chair... agreed?
