*Accepts soup gratefully*

Non-dairy hot chocolate just isn't the same I'm afraid... I'll just have to wait for the anti-biotics to kick in more fully.

Oh, I heard recently that the whole avoiding milk thing with colds, etc. is just hooey. They always change their minds So go for it!

Yeah, they're sure irritating sometimes!

We have a great Jewish deli near us with Matzo ball soup to die for - I just drove some over to my dad the other day when he was sick.

Well, I have 2 sick kids at home - gotta go make them some lunch...

Best matzo soup I 've had is from Greenblatt's deli on Sunset. Second best, Jerry's Deli. Greenblatt's is hiring right now, actually; I just read a job listing from them on Craigslist. That'd be a cool job. They offer benefits and everything.

I need to get out of here, too. It is an absolutely gorgeous day out today. There's no excuse for me sitting here at home mooting in the middle of the day, not when it's this nice outside. Gotta go.

Ciao, tutti!

'They' can say whatever they like about it. Old habits die hard though, and experience has taught me that avoiding dairy when sick is a good idea in general. I think it's not so much the milk by itself that aggravates colds/sinus infections, but foods/drinks that are heavy on both dairy and sugar. A six ounce glass of milk is fine, but stuff like hot chocolate, ice cream or cheese cake is a bad idea.

Well, whatever works for you, in your experience You know your own body best, and how it reacts to things. But in general, for those who haven't heard, the old ban against milk products during a cold is apparently not such a big deal now.

I think I need to invent a new drink or something... Maybe I'll start with Chocolate Milk as a base.. And add... Ice cream...

On second thought I'll have a chocolate milkshake... someone already beat me to inventing it.

Since my trousers are intertwined with Boppy's, I must come to the Cafe as well.

Chocolate milk and icecream would be soooooo rich. I'm getting hyper just thinking about it.

Would you look at that! Gotta love family reunions like that. I wonder if he would like to be in the security force?

Hi Lotesse!
I've spoke to him and he said he would be proud to join the team. He says he will stalk the tall grass out front and keep all the riffraff from entering the cafe. He's already on the job, look.

He will come in, from time to time, and get himself an irish carbomb but will make sure he stays focused on his job.

LMM, I said, generally.
Well... logically yes. But it is a rather backhanded compliment, dear; it doesn't really inspire a logical response.

But I know you didn't mean it. You're forgiven.

Time to sober up darling.

Good luck on the job, Lotesse!

Chai, anyone?

EDIT - the moon was full on the 14th, not the 13th, and also there was a penumbral eclipse, but hard to see...
Yep! Learned it from my sci. teacher last year. Easy to memorize.

Ciao trolls' bane; yes I had a thing to tell you. Your website for Zaq-One? Well, I was wondering if you were aware that when we go on to your website to read your story, it shows the story in a very vulnerable open word document. How do I explain it - when anyone happens to go visit & read your story, it looks like just anyone could make an alteration to it. I thought you needed to know, because that looks like such a vulnerable thing to have your story on the world wide web if it can be toyed with by just anyone, you know? This was on the latest chapter you put up. Maybe it's just this last chapter. Check it; you'll see what I mean.

Someone has actually changed it!?
I'll look immediately.
Those are not the up to date copies anyway. I'll post the link soon.

No, nobody changed it that I could tell, but my point is that anyone could do. It's not in a "finished" mode; it's in an open word doc format.

Thanks! I've never actually checked it. Thank you again. I'll post the new link and replace that one, since the website will never be finished anyway.
