Well, go ahead if you have time, BB - I always love posts with Boom in them

*raises glass to the birthday girl* (well i was doing that anyway ... ... but its the thought that counts!

cheers Gor! (and rian!)

course im still well behind where i originally was ... but a weeks along time in politics they say .... but a few days are longer here!

Quote:
Let Barliman talk to his dog, while "deducing": every Holmes needs his Watson.
well in a tharbadian twist , tis the dog who is the sharper! ..has a nose for these things y'know!

well, as Ri says plenty of opportunities to work somehting in , but i still have the tortoise race to finish, the pie throwing to do, and ...er .something else?

now that's consistency for you!

Ri: loved the way Ty was so reflective, looking at the ever flowing water .... great metaphor

so, what with this development, rian's torn feelings, the inquisition (sorry, i mean the deducing scenes) and the lessons, esp commerce! ... your characters should be free to open out into the wide sky-filled tall grass whispering priaries of rpg possibility at last ....

Gor and TD ... very interesting possibilities there at the library ..esp as Mathaliel and Mr O will be by soon ....

CS
- where are you????? well handled with the maid!

so, orrodell is now an open rpg house ... time for viv, lilly et all to blossom in rpg freedom

TD .... dungeons!

Lotesse: the expectations for this race just grow and grow ... (wotcha SHAH - oops i sat on the pressure-cranker-upper again! - how careless! )

will it be Viv who is appointed leader of orrodel? i truly know not what Gor intends .... but surely you would be the only candidate that has not caused problems?

Udu
- when will you meet up with Jas (serenoli) and i for a glass (or ..even .. two?) ..and ..er.. maybe some eastern culture one night?

serenoli
- liked the post - so, jas has a plan involving dressing down? ...ah, whenit come sot f=dressing down or indeed gowns - have a char woth old bumble! .... intruiging!

willow, earniel you may be called by the "no one expects the ......er watch ... to actually ask any questions!" investigate-ative team, watson and barli ...

be on your guard! - watson likes to lick people an awful lot! ...

Valandil - is car 51 in the garage? try the old works every time ..give it a kick or hit it with an branch a few times! .. or is it merely a standard coffee and donut stop? ...lokking forward tio that placeholder post!

GW ...aha! trick and treat, eh? ...excellent!

well, it seems the game is safe to rejoin and carry on charismatically chaotically ... but all, arguments are for pms! (beleive me i have tried it!) - sorry TD and Gor! .... lets (imho) try and bring the fun back and let people post a bit and the enjoy the creative game ... without too much argument - and that of course includes ME!

best all, or should i say, an elementary "evenin' all!" ?

Thanks - I think water is absolutely fascinating... We just got a really cool fountain thingy at a bookstore across the street, the kind where the water flows down kind of a ridged surface - I swear, I could get a cup of tea and watch it for an hour...

but alas, kid stuff calls!

Off to my son's last football game - Go Lancers!!!!!

I may struggle to get online over the weekend as I'm away for most of the day on Saturday, and have quite a busy Sunday, but I'll try and get online and post in the RPG thread.

Happy B-Day Lotesse!

Seattle=Seahawks, no Rams BB.

So the dungeons are in the library? I confess, I had been wondering.

Hm... I better start coming up with something to teach...

BB, at last account of Udu, he was still in the governor's palace, talking to the MM's. He is just waiting for his chance to see that Eastern culture on the second floor of the university.

I was wondering that too... I think she dissaproves but is too polite to actually say so and so pretends to not know about it. She might be plotting something to humorously humilate those of her colleagues who indulge in it. I don't know, I keep asking her and she just gives me this look and refuses to tell...

Lotesse, didn't know it was your birthday... hope you enjoyed it, and that you have a great year ahead!

BB, think you got confused... its Tolvadok who's dressing down actually, not Jas. Say, if you don't have classes today, we (Jas and Bumble) might go out and find Udu in one of the numerous inns and pubs in Tharbad... might have a drinking contest... What do ya think? BTW, can you do me a favour? Can you put in Tolvadok as Number Three in your post on them in the Formal Info thread?

eh, the Rams ... or the LAMBS as we used to call them - yuck! I don't even know where they moved to - I think it's St. Louis, Missouri!

We won BOTH games, the varsity and junior varsity. Yay us!

Earniel, I hope you get to write your post before I get back from my daughter's soccer game tomorrow If you DO, the only thing that I would suggest, because of the post that I just wrote, is that you write the guys as just a little quieter than they would have been otherwise. Very polite, etc., and very appreciative, but not super ready to burst out laughing at any jokes - more just a smile and a chuckle.

GW mysterious mayhem eh?

Serenoli - yup will put in Tol at 3, knew there was something else i should be doing ....
anyone else remembers anything else i shoulda done, let me know ...

well AYE! bumble jas and udu could have a piss up - it IS monday after all, and this IS tharbad, for Jas it's like work but with a field side specialism with the beer, for bumble its probably an "unoffcial" tradition anyway .. and for Udu ... he can get to see bits if tharbad and other things not normally seen... and get to know some fellow staff ..and of course drink and generally carouse!

willowly Lady M - (hah - dont know why - but your name like that makes me want to sing "by the rivers of bablyon" ..!) ..yeah i was wondering about the course, but then i just thought ...ah - it'll be more character interaction than actual specifics of the course - so might as well go drinking and carousing!

...yeah, i'd guess it is a secret?? ... though a lost one if the MM's know of it - though in rumour form only .... must have the watch investigter-agate this ... best seats in the house please!

btw was kinda thinking of having the watch turn a blind eye to some certain things that happen at the "other" free jewellery place - kind of a public spirited see no evil hear no evil wink and a nod - an unwritten unsaid kinda understanding between the watch and prof M ??? waddya reckon?

funding must be hard - and the less well off need jewellery too y'know!

Lotesse: poor shah, did you too just actually sit on the pressure-cranker-upper to maximum button??

Hows the race scene going Shah?

looking forward to it!

best BB

Serenoli, is Toldovak going to have an alias in Tharbad, or is he going to stick with Toldovak?
Don't think I'll have a chance to post to post within the next twenty four hours, as I'm going to a concert tonight, but will post when I can.

Oh, I"m going to a concert tonight, too - a small harp concert (about 60 people) - should be absolutely wonderful. It's the old-fashioned (and best) way, in a small room with no amplification. I can't wait!!!!

Udu, There is a problem with Orientation meeting. As it was invented after your post about Udu's morning, your post didn't mention it, of course. Now there is a question: have you been there, or not?

If yes, than you should add it to your old post. If not, than I shall mention two professors missing: you and Bumble. And Mahtaliel will be after you for missing the meeting , or so I think.

Also: Who is teaching Western Philosophy and Military history of Middle-Earth?
