I'm glad to hear that, Tessar! It's great that you can talk about those kinds of things with your parents.. I think many of us expect too much of ourselves, and tend to exaggerate the expectations we get from other people. Some of us learn every day, that what we exepct is really unrealistic and we shouldn't believe that people expect everything from us. Some of us never learn.

Hearing that you feel that good, and just realising that it's Friday and I just had an exam, makes me feel really good.

Cool! That beats my view from where I'm let off. Of course, I get to walk through a natural wash that smells nice when it rains (not hard, thank god), but that beats it. Not my mountian view, though.

I've got some great mountain views on the way to work, but I never have my camera with me. Pity, because the sunrise lights up the face of the mountain quite fantastically.

I'm going to start taking my digital to school. I've missed so many photo ops.

My camera is finally arrinving tomorrow (I hope). The company I ordered from were changing warehouses so the dispatch date got delayed, but after alot of chasing up I finally managed to get them to dispatch it.

It felt best [i]during[i] the parachuting, but of course it felt great afterwards too. Back on the ground again, with the adrenaline still pumping, I were so happy that I had actually experienced what it's like to be so completely, well, free. Now this is something I'd like to do again soon.

Cool! I have to think about doing something like this, when I'm a little older. Good to hear it was a nice experience. And that you are well.

Oh, believe me, I want to! I've already unanimously decided that when (if) I graduate from uni, someone HAS to fix that for me.

Glad to see you're still alive!

i'm happy because i'm thinking about the past summer.. while the rain is pouring outside, i sit inside, looking through photos from this summer's courses and listening to the music we listened to then.. tomorrow we're having a party, all of us who spent one month of our summer studying nature in the archipelago. i got the task of making a little photo show/presentation..

and soon winter will be here..

Happy: It's Friday, and now I can be here for the rest of the weekend. The swimming unit in P.E. is over, and Ronnie Perkins is in fact no longer a missing person!

Took the first part of the day off work this morning (well... yesterday morning - I've stayed up late to watch World Series Game 3)... in order to go on my 4-year old's Preschool Field Trip (their first). It was a fall outing to a farm. Just a short stop there - long enough for a hayride with a stop to pick a pumpkin, a corn maze and lunch. I think we spent more time on the bus there and back (esp since I don't think the driver knew exactly where this place was that we were going ) - but a good bonding time with my son, and got to know a few of his classmates and have a little face time with his teachers (he's not always a good listener - and needs to learn to 'use an inside voice' and 'keep his hands to himself' - I want the teachers to know that WE know he struggles with these things).

It was fun.

I had absolutely NOTHING I had to do from about 8:30 to 4:30 - I had a wonderful relaxing day at home, just me and the dog. I took a long, much-needed nap, and then spent a couple of hours Mooting on some of my favorite threads, esp. the rpg thread, which I'm new at but am really starting to love.
