American poet, noted for his complex, oratorical poetry, and turbulent life. He was called the father of the confessional poets, a term used to describe among others Sylvia Plath, Anne Sexton, and John Berryman. His work grew from his own unhappiness and the social, political, and ideological movements in the U.S. during the Post World War II decades. He was a heavy drinker, and was married three times. From 1949 the manic-depressive *** spent periods in mental hospitals.

I actually meant "the Lurking Fear" was very good, but that too.

I thought it might be Prometheus Bound, but I didn't see anything in the clue about it.

American thriller writer whose violent, fast-paced books have sold some 290 million copies worldwide. He started his literary career relatively late, after working in the theatre, both as actor and producer. His special skill is to capture the imagination of his readers from the first pages, and keep them absorbed in the story. Although critics considered his style melodramatic and the plots unbelievable, the author often used material from current events in international politics. Characteristic for his stories is a paranoid view of the world, in which global corporations and shadowy military and governmental organizations undermine the international status quo. Heroes are thrown into a web of intrigues, where they do not know who is their real friend and who is the enemy. Finally, against all odds, they defeat seemingly superior adversaries.

If Matt Damon is there, then I'm guessing 503 - The Bourne Identity, and 504 - The Bourne Supremacy

The author - Robert Ludlum
