Do you want to be very polite when talking to JD? Then you would use "Sie", but if you are friends, you schould use "Du". iN other words:

The minute it starts getting ugly here, I'm out. It's a joke and a good one (well at least to me) but I'm not going to take it seriously. I mean it's not even an actual competition. Neither JD or Coney can actually do anything to win since somebody else is writing the match.

The finale will be an anti-climax compared to this match. Surprising it seems that Jonathan just didn't think that the Coney vs JD fight would end up being this big. It's the fight of the century. Of course now he is under A LOT of pressure to make it good.
