Ummmm.....okay.....okay, okay, I got it. I'm not sure if this was done already. Why did Frodo want to get off the road when he was on his way to Crickhollow?

I think it was because he heard/saw the Nazgul, then he talked to Gildor (i think that was the Elf's name) and he told Frodo to stay away from the Black Riders.

lol I really am doing all of this from memory.

Sam heard a horse coming along the road behind them and frodo had a sudden desire to hide from the view of the rider.

Frodo said he'd rather not be seen on the road by any one, he was sick of his doings being noticed and discussed.

also they meant to suprise gandalf if it was him.

is any of this what your looking for Arcala?

Easy for Tolkien trivia-masters like yourself maybe. I can only think of two: the Green Dragon and the Ivy Bush. I'll have to look work my grey matter till it hurts or look the others up when I get the chance, unless somebody beats me to it.
