Lovely roses, and thanks for the song, GW.
Anyone else think this room needs a fountain?

I think I'll have to go out and walk the dog soon.
Here it's not very hot. We had rain for most of the day, but the evening was lovely. I sat on a bench watching over the lake, very pretty. [/randomness] EDIT: *is smooched* Hiya Sane, looking good! Can I take a ride with you?

Y'know what one of the most beautiful things for once-in-a-while-but-not-too-often is? An overcast day at the beach. Grey sky, grey sea, white sand, simply marvellous.

Hehe, you know what's even better? Storm when you are on the beach. I'd rather go during a slight storm then when it's hot and sunny.

I really, really love overcast skies. They do get old after a while, but for a few days they're splendid.
Hey, people! Look what I found!

Nurvingiel has been mysteriously and suddenly absent from the Cafe for a month, but things seem to be running quite smoothly without her. Good think she gave her patrons open access to the kitchen.
Recently there was a party here. The garbage cans are full of brightly-coloured wrapping paper and the recycling bin is full of present boxes. A marble bust of Hector Berlioz stands on the mantle piece (along with various other relics). A brown and white Pomeranian is standing on the coffee table, singing Arias. Beside the puppy lies a beautifully wrought conductor's baton, a stack of music and a leather-bound book of Norwegian fairy tales. The book lies open to Gudbrand on the Hill-side. There's an archery butt standing in the corner, with a red-feathered arrow in the bullseye, and 1960s soul music is playing in the background of cheerful conversation. Over the roar of a Kawasaki Ninja's engine, no-one notices someone slip in the back door.
