A couple of misunderstandings on Baru's part

Tabrîl may expand on her 'it was not Radagast' statement in a later post. She just didn't feel like explaining right now, seeing as Baru's being so insulting and all.

Baru will need to think very carefully - but still fast - about what to answer to that
I'll take some time over it - mostly because I'm posting from my Nokia phone right now, and editing is rather cumbersome. Back to normal on Sunday, or perhaps tomorrow night.

Tabrîl's writer is surprised at Tabrîl getting all nostalgic, too. Oh well. She is an elf.

The Kindi haven't had much contact with outsiders since the late Second Age, and virtually none at all in the last few centuries. So if Tabrîl sounds a little out-of-the-loop, that's why. She's probably never heard of hobbits, even.

I'm sorry I haven't done anything in a while. The whole group could be in New York City by now, and it's 7000 years later, and I wouldn't have known about it!

So did anyone else take leisure time off, or go off on a separate path? Did anybody die or transcend to a new level of existence? Suffice to say, I'm completely behind and by now I've probably already settled down somewhere in Rhun without anyone ever noticing!!

I quite liked your act, Varna. Nice idea to work with birds after seeing Radagast's act. Although I doubt he'd require her to perform every night. So you don't have to run Baru ragged!

I'm looking forward to Nami's act. I'm sure we'll manage to keep Nami entertained up to some level during the holidays. Now that I'm back from my holiday, I'll be here throughout August too, so Radagast is available for long talks when wanted.

I think I'll also use that time to write some acts for the characters that have been dropped, or have been inactive for a long time, like Branwyn, or Hedrim and the Ents. For those I can readily come up with acts, and it may relieve others a bit from having to feel they've got to keep the festival going on their own.

Amael, we haven't reached New York yet but we've reached the Carnen river, said goodbye to the Raft-Elves and travelled north along side the Carnen river, in the company of a tribe of easterlings called the Ultai. Right now we're pretending to be entertainers hired to liven up their yearly Celebration. As far as I can tell, your character and that of Ingwe are still in our company.

I had that idea (about the bird) from the other RP, and since the performer there was Baru's cousin, she must have told Baru about it, and it was easy to repeat it here.

I'll have Radagast give Baru a day off then

Tabril's writer knows very well it wasn't Morgoth who destroyed Beleriand. Tabril doesn't.

Tabril's writer is also very fond of the Noldor and thinks Tabril exaggerates. A little.
