The fact that we only have 12 choices for smilies on this board makes me happy.

The fact that we are NOT reading Hamlet OR Romeo and Juliet for Shakepeare class makes me happy.

Having a tongue makes me happy.

The smell of french fries from the next office over makes me happy.

Hats make me happy.
Learning makes me happy, as long as it's on my own terms, time and at my own choice of subject, unless it's something I don't already know, then I don't mind learning it even if someone else chose it.

Assuming that the mentioned "Elements" does not refer to Euclid's Elements (which I highly doubt) I shall understand little to nothing. But the lecture is actually by one of the college's tutors, and I still don't know who she is (

), so I might as well find out.

Plus, we are kind of (emphasis on 'kind of') required to attend.

Wow! I envy you! What on exactly? PM me when you get back! It sounds interesting. But in a college class!? We went over elements last year and this year. The elementary particles I can understand, though. Sounds like a blast! I wish I could go.

It wasn't a class, it was a lecture. Here at TAC, the classes are done as discussions, and they have a Friday-night lecture (and concert) series. This was the last lecture of the year.

The lecturer was pointing out certain errors in modern atomist theory, though what exactly, I don't really remember; not much of a scientist.

-Falling asleep to the sound of rain. (As long as it's not raining to hard, or else it runs off my neighbors roof and hits the ground with loud splashes.)
