Cool! Oh, excuse me. I mean: Hot!

I've been listening to great music by Bach this evening. And now my mum is watching a Classical Music show by Andre Rieu. She doesn't like Classical unless it is directed by Andre Rieu.

Well, I shall go bake something.

Pardon my infrequent posting, this tin idiot is set up in an area with neither heat nor insulation, and, since it's below freezing, my sociability is compromised.

GW: Chatlish is a new term for me. It reminds me of how in French class, we would slack off and try to speak English half the time, even to the point of using English words or grammar in French sentences. This was referred to as Franglais or Fringlish.

Franglais = Francais + Anglais
Fringlish = French + English

Choose the right words based on whichever language you're managing to use more of.

So is there Swedlish? Svenskgelska?

There was definately "svengelska" in our Swedish lessons when I was 13, 7th grade, that is.

GW, those pics are so pretty I first thought they had been done using some über computer program. They kinda look like those animated Christmas cards, don't they?

I watched "The Last Samurai" movie yesterday. Not the best possible experience, since I watched it on this laptop, but the movie was great. Well. I guess you all have seen it like million years ago. Damn the remote location of Finland.

Indeed, Nurv, there is something called Svengelska - or Swedlish.

Chatlish is my own term for all these abbreviations used in chat conversations.

Thanks, Nelly! Indeed they do. I just out and took the pics standing in the doorway.

Noble, I didn't get to watch it till I was in Japan. Never quite felt like watching it. Cutting off people's heads and all, but all in all it was pretty good.
Only the kiss at the end... so... American >_<
Japanese do not kiss. They just don't. Not in films anyway

Sis, how about putting a nice blankie near the computer? How do you think I survive sitting upstairs behind my laptop?

So, how is everyone? Any Thanksgiving plans?

If I lived in a shack in the woods, Tessar, I would have a big ol' wood stove fired up and I would not be cold.

Unfortunately, I live in a cottage in what is now suburban area. That means I'm not allowed to heat in a sensible way, but must purchase warmth from a vendor.

At this time, we are TWENTY DEGREES BELOW the average temperature for this time of year. We are colder than mid-January. It's snowing again. My budget does not provide for both dealing with this abberant climate AND providing holiday cheer for my loved ones, so I'm keeping a couple of rooms warm and this isn't one of them.

If you'd like to tell me to STFU until I can never mention my climate woes, just tell me. Or you can send me a small check for my heat fund.

Gentleman's choice.

Otherwise, good morning, all.

*hands Sis a pair of warm socks and a heated blankie and invites her to join her near the hearth*
Go right ahead dear Sis. If it gets boring, I'll stop reading

We were supposed to go out for dinner tonight, but I'm out of money. Well, I could have borrowed money from my parents, but my mum wasn't feeling well anyway, so she was glad we didn't have to go. Besides, this is one dinner I WANT to pay myself. I offered to take them all out afterall.
