I would be ticked pink to go on a nice ride with Mari, or to see Gwai at the Bird and Brat. But I'd be just as happy to do that at a state park, or the Denny's down the road. Places are nice...some of them are very nice. I loved going back to Mesa Verde last year, and I'd love to do it again. But my interesting conversations with some folk at the Four Corners, and my visits with friends (who I met on-line) were far more important than the backdrop.

Someday, maybe I won't be busy, and I'll hit the lottery. I doubt that I'll be gadding off to the Taj Mahal or the Great Wall, even then. Buy a sheepfarm and hire someone to trim my hedges, probably.

I'm going to convert my .MP4 files to .MP3 files, so I can put them in/on my new MP3-player. I did have a portable CD-player, but if I have to travel 3 hours a day to get to school and back with a bag full of books, I don't think it'll be save to stuff it in there. So now I'm using it as a normal CD-player with boxes plugged in.

Sane, that was a lovely dance Dancing with a nice skirt is great. Even if you can't dance at all, it looks okay

"Once upon a time, there was a girl who liked forests very much. She wasn't allowed to go into the nearby dark forest, but one day when the sun was shining and she could hear the birds singing in the forest, she couldn't resist any longer and she went in.
Deeper and deeper she went. Soon she got lost, but the girl didn't notice it, enchanted as she was by the heartbeat of that forbidden forest. Around every tree a new wonder appeared. Fields of flowers, small ponds, a deer, rabbits playing, an unusually shaped tree... and a swing hanging off the branches of that tree.
The girl was drawn to the swing. This whole place just seemed so peaceful and she felt that if she were to sit on that swing, she could be part of that scene. That she could cease to be just herself, but join all other life in this forest.
A bit hesitant she walked towards the swing. Gently and a bit apprehensive she touched the ropes, the wood of the seat and she closed her eyes trying to imagine swinging on it. A smile appeared on her face and graciously she sat down..."

The tree above her smiled, stretching her old back further into the sun.

A girl - a girl who chose her swing. It was like being a sapling again. She murmered wordy tree endearments to the girl, which the girl heard as just rustling.
