I'm back...
I feel... ashamed. Sort of. I have been neglecting my duties toward the Nal. I assure you, both Dick and Bob will be ready for the coming battles. *salute* |

It's not dead yet?
Well, I'm still here if needed.

I take it most people put off posting as they're not quite sure how to proceed. At least, that is so in my case. Maybe if we did some plotting as to how we're going to handle this three-way battle, then maybe people will get inspiration?

Yes. Plotting would be good. I think the first thing to work out would be do we start off the fight with: Nal vs Wraack, Nal vs Maeve, Wraack vs Maeve or all three at once?

The Wraak will definitely be willing to engage the Nal immediatelt since they kind of hate our guts. So I'm sorta leaning towards have the Wraak engage the Nal in battle first. Maeve might intervene? I don't know much about her possible motivations for anything at this point, though.

What about the invisible ship? Or is that Maeve? *corn-fused*
Let's not turn this into LOST and tie up that lose end too. |

If I am not mistaken, the Klingon Bird of Prey would be Maeve's ship. She's done it before at the beggining too.

And the Wraak is coloured grey, so it would be hard to spot too. Hence two spots where we think is a ship, but we can't really see, Maeve's because it's cloaked, and the Wraak because it's hard to spot because of the camouflage colour.

Ooo, plotting
I think the three way battle will be quite intresting. I'm going to put my 2 cents worth in: Since The Wraak hates us and has been tracking us since ,IIRC, the last Wine Theves installment, They would prolly attack first. Mauve strikes me as waiting to calalate her next move. Whoever is the Capt'n of the Wraak strikes me has the hasty type and since the Nal can't see her very well, he'll strike before we have the chance to realize they're nearby. So I was thinking Nal vs. Wraak, then Mauve jumps in. Hows the Wraak's standing with Mauve and vise Versa?

I agree that the Wraak should attack first. Also, they are probably so focused on the Nal that they haven't noticed the invisible ship that is most likely closer to them than the Nal. I was also thinking that when we finally get to fight Maeve's ship that Bob would betray them or something cuz I want to be RID of her. No hard feelings, but chaos demons can just GTFO. |

I thought Bob was only with our ship to get back to Maeve anyway? The Captain was expecting her to disappear once Maeve's ship arrives. I think that Maeve would probably be content to watch the chaos between Nal and Wraak to start with. She may step in to help if things are going badly for the Nal, but as she wants Willow back she is just as likely to help the Wraak is the Nal is winning. Am I correct?

I was rather under the impression that this was the current state of visibility:
-The Wraack can see the Nal and presumably could see Maeve's ship but haven't looked in that direction yet. -Maeve (but not her crew) can see the Nal and the Wraack -The Nal can see neither, but know that there are two somethings that they aren't seeing. Maeve had a hostile run-in with the Wraack when she still had the Sea-Flame with her. I don't think she has much intention of siding with the Wraack or of standing and watching a fight between the two. So... Wraack attacks Nal, Maeve jumps in? She's a little further from the island from the other two so the Nal and the Wraack could be well into it before she can intervene.

*huggles EXK*
So we seem to be in agreement about the Wraak making the first move on us and Maeve coming in afterwards. Let's rock 'n roll, then, shall we?

Oy, are we aground on the sandbar, or are we firing cannons over it or are we some way away from it, because our ships won't be able to get anywhere near the sandbar because the water is too shallow.
Will someone draw a picture, please? |

We've all run aground on the sandbar and are rushing into a melee. Except for Maeve's ship, which is in the process of running aground and whose crew will join the fun in just a bitsy. Now go forth and cause chaotic fighty stuff.
