I actually think that Coffeehouse and Midge conspired together to create the Manchurian Candidate, X Perry Mint. This makes way more sense than the usual admin/mod conspiracy mumbo jumbo. I mean, why would admins want their own candidate in the race?

I had the announcement automatically set from the 1st to the 7th. But while I intended to officially close the ballot box this evening, I couldn't set an hour, just a date, and the announcement apparently went down this morning. I don't think we'll get votes in the following few hours, but there will be an announcement later today that will mark the end of voting.

Who Will Win The Entmoot Election?

Hi, I’m a bored, currently unemployed reporter. With only hours left to vote, I dragged myself away from my chips and reruns of morning talk shows to pose this important question to the Entmoot: Who Will Win The Entmoot Election? I expect you probably already knew that I was going to ask that because it was the title of this little segment.

Anyways.

“I do believe as someone is goin’ to be winin eet,” proclaimed one very nervous man. “At least I do ‘ope as someone will, seein’ as if’n we don’t ‘arve enough votes, yon Administrators will be rulin’ o’r us like eet were as some sorts of Adminitatorship.”

Although I have no idea what he was saying, because of his ridiculous accent (who –really- talks like that?!), I think we can all agree with his sentiment. Again, I’m not really sure what that was, but I think we can all agree on it.

“Oh, I didn’t vote, you know?” said one totally lame person. “Power to the people, maaaaaan. It’s like.... you know? If you vote, like.... you’re just CONFORMING, maaan. It’s what the maaaaan wants you to do, maaaan.”

After punching his stupid lights out for being such a $%#) hippy, our reporting team moved on.

“I voted for X Perry Mint,” Tessar, one of the cruel Administrator Overlords that I think we can all sincerely hope doesn’t take complete control because THAT WOULD BE AWFUL so I sure hope everyone votes, said from his luscious tree-top home in Lothlorien (which was probably bought off elf slave labor because he’s a complete $%#)$# like that). “I don’t think it’s important that people vote, though,” he said, petting one of the many tiny, yappy dogs that he owns, each of which probably costs more to breed than an honest, hard working Entmooter makes in their lifetime. “I mean... an Administrator dictatorship? You realize that’s going to happen ANYWAYS, right? It’s not like we’ll let a little thing like a government get in our way.”

Thoroughly chilled, we said goodbye to Tessar and hastily packed it back to the streets.

“Oh my Eru, did he really say that?” one concerned Entmooter exclaimed. “Seriously? Well that that just goes to show you how corrupt the upper level of Administration is. Have you noticed how there haven’t been any Mods in a while? I’ll bet they’ve been eaten. Or turned into something horrible, like a toad.”

So I think we can all conclude that we had better get our worthless hides down to that voting booth and VOTE OUR BUNS OFF if we hope to not have to be groveling for crumbs while those stupid dogs, one of whom peed on my shoe, of Tessar’s eat like princes.
