Ooh, I got the job after all btw! For one week, but better than nothing. I guess I should clarify that it's internship - I just haven't had any need for that word, so... X)

The article specifically mentioned the city where I live. It was a little surprising - we are the third largest city in Missouri, but we are fairly small on the "city" scale (only 165k-ish). I think the area around here is considered the "buckle" of the Bible belt (geographically, anyway), though. They hold an anti-religion convention here at the local university called "Skepticon".
I can only assume that is why this article chose it as the home of the person who doesn't believe in science... [Edit: Posted before I read the rest of the thread and didn't want to double-post] Don't we have a bank full of chocolate somewhere? As if it is the currency here? I thought that was a thing when Varna and I were running for President of Entmoot...

Yeah, well, I don't consider it my business to find out where my fellow mooters lodge... XD "anti-religion convention here at the local university called "Skepticon"." Why, I think Jaclyn Glenn was there... s'pose you don't know of her?? ?? And (in RL) why do I smell rotten apples? I'm in the computer class at my school... o.O But, the new trailer for Jurassic World is up! See it and get excited

Yes - we are off the chocolate standard and onto paper money. A MUCH better system. And nothing to worry about. All that chocolate bullion is SAFELY locked away!!!
