Of course we all remember "my friend Freka".

Geez...who indeed! It's in my complete guide to ME, but using that would make me a boring cheater! I still want to know how many times the darkening of the sky is mentioned! It's Friday night...so ignore me!

I don't think this is a fair question although it is one to ponder. You'd have to read the entire book or have it as an E-Book and use the "find" function in order to answer it.
We're more into conventional type questions that can be answered by finding a quote or location or an invisible rabbit. It's Saturday morning and dismal.

Ok, here's a new question:
What was Elrond wearing in the Grey Havens? |

So who was Freka? Was it one of the ponies?
Ummm, A tunic by CK? My real guess, (and it is just that) is that Elrond wore blue robes and his crown of stars.

He didn't wear blue robes.
Freka is someone from Rohank, from Dun. |

Ah, well, something smart but casual I'd've thought. Beats me.

Freca....Man of mixed Rohirric and Dunlending blood, father of of Wulf. Freca was very rich and powerful and had much land near the Adorn. King Helm distrusted him, and after Freca insulted the king for refusing an offer to marry his daughter to Wulf, Helm slew him.
From "The Complete Guide to middle Earth".

kiwi is right.
Freca is in the appendixes, so you can't find him in the index, nor in the book. |

RTB I'm surprised at you. No questions are allowed that are not from the story. No index, no appendix and no bloody NCC-1701 B-C-D.
