Oh and FF, as far as the 1/5, it could have been one of Saruman's early failed experiments prior to his falling upon mixing men and orcs!

A moral of the whole (after the primary symbolism of the Ring, as the will to mere power, seeking to make itself objective by physical force and mechanism, and so also inevitably by lies) is the obvious one that without the high and noble the simple and vulgar is utterly mean; and without the simple and ordinary the noble and heroic is meaningless." I'll be someone who you meet in Middleearth and become good friends with, okay? I'll be your guide! Name: Kalomë Age: 15 Race: Dunadain Height: 5'8" Commonly wears: Green forest garb with an elven cloak and leaf clasp, bow and arrows and a sword. Eyes: Brown Hair: Long, dark brown. Younger sister of Aragorn, she grew up in imladris among the elves. A studier of elven law and a fine horseback rider and warrior, she enjoys reading, singing, riding her horse Wathalion, wandering through the woodlands of middleearth and talking with people of all races. Fluent in many middleearth languages, she is most often employed as a guide for travellers through the forests when she is not studying and fighting in the war.

Too many young pretty girls in this story - probably just as well I may not be in it
I get the impression you (Miss Feraway) are talking about doing the roleplaying here on the board - sorry I assumed it would be real-time over an IM thingy? |

Feraway (and everyone),
Like Gerbil, commitments might keep me from being a frequent participant.  I wouldn't want to claim a character and then force Feraway to take over much of my role-playing.  Of course, if it would work as you say it would (one or two responses a day), then I could probably do it. Feraway, for what sorts of player-characters do you see a need?  As a long-ago D&D DM, I know that it's sometimes hard to get the kind of character mix you'd prefer.  Please send me an email from my profile screen if you think there are any parts that I could play. Also like Gerbil, I'd feel like a dirty old man among so many "young pretty girls," so it might be more appropriate for me to be an auxilliary character (kind of like Elrond or Saruman, but new to this story) rather than a party member. Feel free to email any thoughts. Last edited by Churl : 02-04-2002 at 02:13 PM. |

Hasn't this gone off topic? I suggest that you organise RPGs using the Private Message function or in the RPG forum. I'm sorry what inconvience this may cause.
