I was hoping someone would post Arwen's horse. If they did they don't know their Asfaloth from their elbow.

Ignore me too.

I should have taken credit for that also. (More in my sig) No doubt I will take that Tolkien-triviamaster-fangirl one!

Yes. The horse Glorfingle ( ) rode. Your turn, Nerindel.

Hmm I think you'll find we do know the horse belongs to Glorfindel.

Oh, oh! I would like to thank, the academy, and my parents, and Lin, for not getting the answer right (just kidding, please! Don't kill me, oh great and wise leader)

Ok..... question. Why did Elrond want to send Merry and Pippin back to the Shire?

To warn the Shire folk of the impending "dark days" ahead?

Well, your both right. He didn't want them to join the fellowship, becausre they where younge, and he was going to send them back to the Shire to do what they could (in there fashion) to warn the hobbits of dark days ahead.

Sorry to go off topic, but I had to say this --

Lizra and barrelrider: It is SO weird that you guys were talking about that phrase! The phrase I know is "easy peezy Japaneezy," and I hadn't heard it in years, but for some reason it came into my head the other day, and then I came back on Entmoot and saw your posts...it was freaky! Anyway, back on topic...

I'm thinking it must be rooted further back than recent times, and the movie/tv people are just bringing back old memories. (like "pack your troubles in your old kit bag" or "Red hot mama") I just wonder where it originally came from? I bet Hey Arnold's potato headed grandpa knows!

Ask us a question Arcala!

Yup. Us potato-headed people are considered rather intelligent, as well as having exceptional memories. My potato-head is quite nice and lumpy, actually...
*eagerly awaits the next question*
