It seems my breakfasts have been becoming increasingly Tom Bombadil-like lately.
This morning I had a slice of homemade bread with jam, a little chunk of cheese, and some cottage cheese. There is at least one description in the book of what the hobbits eat there. My ultimate goal is to have all my meals seem like they could have come from LotR somewhere. I bet hobbit dinners are fantastic (as long as they're not TOO heavy on the mushrooms).

Because I'm so interested in Irish music and whatnot, I figured I ought to learn a bit about the language and culture. I've been reading a book on the history of the Irish language, and there's a section in it about small Irish music studios, which lead me to some larger sites, and a section on specific Irish singers that I had never even heard of before.
I'm so excited!!! This is huge for me. |

If you're interested in Scottish Gaelic as well, there are actually special courses for musicians which will teach you Scottish music AND the language. There are even grants for these studies. Unfortunately for you, this is in Scotland, though there may be such courses in the US as well. If I'm not mistaken, they have these courses as summercourse as well.

Why stick to only one day to celebrate, when your relationship (presumably) lasts throughout the rest of the year? In that option, I find Valentine's day a bit useless.
Nevertheless I am hoping we'll have cause to celebrate the 14th because with luck from that day on, we'll never have to deal with that miserably greedy landlord and sleezy new tenants ever again.
