Lol... I have never been on a shoe shopping spree in my life.... the only time I buy shoes is if I need them...
Does that make me weird? Lol.. Mmm... pretty close... a bit down from New Hampshire *shivers as the fire starts to warm the place up*

Lol... Connecticut can be really beautiful... especially in the autumn... but if you grow up here, the grass is always greener elsewhere, ya know? Lol...
And I usually take this opportunity to point out that I am from northern Connecticut, which is not the "rich part" of Connecticut... lotsa farms lol I enjoy being a complete nerd! I get ridiculously excited over going to the bookstore, even if I can't buy anything, I like drooling over the books I want. Not literally, of course *steals CH's hot chocolate*

*Gives a long look to the kidnapped hot choco* Noooo.. Oh well.
*Grabs a new cup with even more cream. Lots of cream* Admit it.. you've drooled on a book. Lol I can see it.. The pictures I've seen remind me of the part of Norway where I live, in the autumn. Lots of golden leaves and stuff. Good-looking My uncle is a potato-farmer lol.. so you won't get jokes from me! I've actually stood on a potato-tractor (which is really big) and sorted out the dirt and rocks from the potatoes. It's great fun

Um, don't they have pumpkins in Connecticut? If you're very far away from stores, you must be close to pumpkins.

A dango is a round sort of ball, three on a stick, usually made of mochi.
The pumpkin dango I want to make is with boiling the pumpkin for a short while, add honey and lots of sesame seeds! Then later you might want to heat them in the fire like marshmallows, but you can also eat them just like that. Very delicious and healthy too ^_^

Generally speaking, the kind of pumpkin you carve for jack-o-lanterns is only marginally edible. The seeds are delicious toasted, but the flesh itself is fairly watery and uninteresting. Pumpkin for eating are small varieties sold under the name "Sugar pumpkin" or something like that.
The chickens have fun with them though.

I made those once in Japan and they tasted real good. I would like to make them again some time.
