It's New Years Day, just like the day before;
Same old skies of grey, same empty bottles on the floor.
Another year's gone by, and I was thinking once again,
How can I take this losing hand and somehow win?

Just give me One Good Year To get my feet back on the ground.
I've been chasing grace; Grace ain't so easily found
One bad hand can devil a man, chase him and carry him down.
I've got to get out of here, just give me One Good Year!

I have the hymn "Godhead here in hiding' stuck in my head for some reason... Think I've been reading too much Gerard Manley Hopkins...

Billy Joel's "Angry Young Man"

I haven't been able to shake it since the presidential campaigning started. I should call it in as a request to the radio.

Killing Me Softly, Alicia Keys version.

And Michael Jackson's 'You Rock My World'. Can't get that out of my head after my dance concert tonight.

Yeah, both versions are great.

Remember any lyrics out of it? What was the video like?

I don't really watch Kerrang! anymore - still get the magazine on occasion, but after they featured Goldie Looking Chain, I wasn't happy.

Song of the moment: (Prepare yourselves for a shock, it's not a HIM one )

Lord of the Rings - Blind Guardian

You mean "Through the Night"? I love that song! By the way hon, do you know how to edit? That way you don't double post.
I have L'arc~en~ciel's "4th Avenue Cafe" in my head because I used it to explain Japanese in a nutshell to Mr. St. Onge. You probably don't know it because it's on a disc of RK that you haven't seen yet. I think you might still have my disc 4 though. Maybe.

I recorded it on a cassete using your DVD so I can listen to it a lot.^^
I have a Tokuyama Hidenori song in my head because I just listened to the CD. He does the songs from Saiyuuki, "For Real" and "Still Time".
