Lyrd of the Ryngs is very special version of LOTR with modern 20th century aspects.

Aragorn, for example, is a FBI agent working undercover as an EO for the Narsil Powersaw Company. Sauron is a corrupt Lawyer wanting to spread crack all over Middle-Earth. Gandalf is a Natural Health Care Salesman. The hobbits are Hooligans. Legolas is a pansy. The Rohirrim are Bikers and they have just helped Minas Tirith win the Battle of Pelennor Fields with the timely arrival of their Armoured Cavalry Regiments. Aragorn arrived too in the Thieving Fishermen of Umbar's Trawlers to the amazement of the ORC unionists of locals 335, 337, 339, 336 and 338.

Eowyn, Faramir and Merry is presently being taken care of in the Minas Tirith Third Level ER and are doing well.

Now we come, and I'm not quite sure how to formulate the posts, the last few chapters of book 5 (according to the Lord of the Rings, which we follow albeit with modern additions.)

Well, since we are we are and The Army of the West haven't set off yet.
The burgeoning love-affair of the Poet/Chief Architect of The Minas Tirith Architectural Agency Faramir and Biker Babe/The Bride Eowyn should perhaps begin to be writ.

The writing technique is the following:

Modern houses, conveyances, appliances and food is what you put in. The story in itself is as true to Tolkien as it can be with the modern parts.

At the moment I'm going thru the entire Lyrd to insert the LOTR chapterheadings at the correct places. Hope that'll help in the reading of it for Newbie Lyrders.
