I don't live at entmoot. And not many od us does. Just about 2000.

They think we're stupid becuase we spend lots of time on LOTR and on LOTR website, and becuase we say LOTR is the best.

We shouldn't be considered stupid just because we tell them the truth: LotR is the best

You know when you're obsessed with LotR when you refer to your home as Jon End (that's in my case. Radagast's home would be called Rad End ).

Uh, wrong, a friend of mine always sees me on Entmoot, but he already knows that I'm a freak, so it doesn't matter anymore.

Jonathan, I live in Rhosgobel, not in Rad-end.

LOTR is a very good book, but I've read better.

I bought a pipe in Williamsburg even though I don't smoke because it looked very like a hobbit pipe.

Cause when you're Enlightened, you are not just a 'fan', you are a fanatic . This scares 'normal' people, who just think anything different from them is silly, wrong, or scary.

I guess mine is Lee End, or, using my Middle name (Lindsay)/ my Elven name(Linaewen) it would be Lin End. Yeah!

You know you're obsessed with the Moot when you are reading about how obsessed other Mooters are in this thread (You save a gazillion threads on your comp to read later) and you use that as an excuse to go online.

You know you're obsessed when you have 1 gigabyte dedicated to Tolkien. Soon to be increased....

~ You refer to your parents as 'amme' and 'atar' ('mother' and 'father' in Quenya). And you have an Elvish name for your brother.

Well, not many. Just few... but they were very good ones. (though I must say I don't read them as much as I read LOTR. Maybe that's the reason I like them more..)

They sound pretty close to 'real' languages, though. Sri Lankans say something like 'Ame' for Mother (Don't know about father) My mum probably wouldn't mind another name, because I already have so many for her. (By that, I do not mean rude names)
