Lief- Sorry about your family member. I'm sure it's very devastating to see someone that close walk away from what you thought they believed. Anyway, I'll have you and them in my prayers.
To all who replied to my last vent (I feel I should say something in response- I didn't really think to get any myself): Rian- Thanks for the advice. In regards to my age: I'm a college-aged young still living with my parents, due in part the the fact that I have no job and no driver's license. Sorry to be vague on the subject: my mother has instilled in me a healthy respect for who might be on the other side of this screen. Spock- I am the party!! Swell. Butterbeer and Earth Bound- Thanks for the advice; I don't have any courderoys (spl?), although reading the Finance mag might help (we po' people ). Bombadillo- I'm curious: How old did you think I was? Or am, or whatever? Thanks for the post, though. All- Y'all make me smile! Thanks. Da Moot ROCKS!

I'm bummed because me and my long-time boyfriend are breaking up, and I don't know what I'm going to do as far as I don't know where (or how) I'm going to live. It's been a long time coming, but now that it's happening, I feel so alone. I love him so much; why the hell can't we synchronise, life can really suck.

Thing is, I was the catalyst that accelerated their breakup. She is about 600km away from her ex, on business. When she returns, she will stay with her parents until she can find a place of her own. She loves him very much, regardless of the things she did and still does behind his back, and irrespective of what he has done. She knew the breakup was going to come eventually. After I contacted her (now) ex, he flew to her in order to confront her. They broke up a week later. All of this while she was (and still is) away on business, away from any support base. She doesn't know what she is going to do. |

Yeah, I don't know what I'm gonna do, so for now I'll try and procrastinate feeling about it, by watching my FoTR DVD and having a smoke. Idly watching that movie is one of my favourite "comfort" things. I'll figure out what to do later.

Lotesse, I really empathize with you. Been there, had that..but that being said the old addage about time healing, really is true although at the time I didn't believe it (who ever does). To go on with your life, knowing your meant for something and someone better or more suited, is difficult but the most positive outlook you can present to help you through.

We were at a stopped light today just an hour ago (my sister was driving) and somebody rear-ended us. It wasn't a bad accident, and the bumper's just kinda messed up, but I still feel like crying .
That and the back of my neck and my head kind of hurt . Last edited by Tessar : 07-15-2005 at 04:06 PM. |

My vent today is that I'm tired and sad, and tired of beind sad. I'm tired of missing -------, my dear, dear friend who laughed at my jokes, and made me feel loved and important and capable, who used to converse with me for hours about interesting things, who encouraged me and held me up and always made me feel trusted and respected and loved. Not even my long-term b-friend ever did these things for me. ------'s dead now, killed so young and suddenly, and nothing will bring him back.
And I'm tired of missing ---------, Best of friends, closer than blood, more sister than sister. She does all of the above and even much more, she gives me reason to live. And she's imprisoned, and another year I must wait to see her beautiful face again. And most of all, I'm tired of missing myself. Where did all those years go, and where did I end up? Sorrow and loss is exhausting.
